Just wondered how strict EJ are when it comes to the description of the rooms.

Have found the Luna Park in Arenal, Majorca AI for 7 nights 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant from 14th April:

    EJ - Double/Twin with Air Conditioning - £313

    QuickRooms - Twin - £232.47

If this isn't acceptable does anyone know of any other hotels close to Palma, doesn't have to be AI?

    Thanks
    Hi,

Placed the above query yesterday. Husband getting anxious to get somewhere booked, so will book tomorrow evening direct with Quick Rooms unless someone thinks we've got a chance claiming back from EJ.

    Thanks

How strict would you be if it was a case of refunding a customer all their money ? Pretty strict Id say.
It all depends if ALL the rooms are AC. If so Id quote this info in my claim.
Do quickrooms have more than 1 price. ie standard twin and another price standard twin with AC ?
its either pay your money, take a chance, bearing in mind cancelation charges- we are less than a month away or find another deal.

Allthough you couldnt get further away from PALMA if you tried.

    Based on family 2 adults/2 children,14 april, 7 days
4*Iberostar Alcudia Park (in ALCUDIA) is up for a FREEBIE.

    EJH 1bed apt (sleeps 4)Half Board £503

    Quickrooms 1bed apt (sleeps 4)Half Board £236.81

Whats the best way to go about a search ?

I've tried putting the dates I want in hotelscomparison.com but I get alot fewer results than if I searched in each website separately...which is taking forever !

I know its worth it if you can bag a cheapie/freebie but I've been searching for the last few weeks and can't find anything. I would like a beach holiday for 7 days in the first couple of weeks of July, anywhere Spain/Portugal etc but can't find anything.

Is this method best for short city breaks rather than beach holidays ?

    Thanks for any advice/info.

match easyjethotels dearest with find-rooms.com (as they allow you to pick your hotel from a drop down box) this will help spot any glaring errors in pricing.

I love this thread - just about to make my first booking!

Quick question - Is breakfast important - or does the room just have to be the same.

I found a match where Octopus Travel gives a price for a double room including breakfast - Easyhotel is more that double and without breakfast.

Does anyone think this will be a problem - sorry if answered before - long threads!

the room has to be exact. so yes the breakfast makes a difference

    Thanks Tbeckett100 - I'll give the EJH versus find-rooms.com method a go.

    Hi,

EJH can be extremely pedantic about this kind of thing. I booked a standard room with EJH, compared to a standard room with garden view elsewhere, and they would not allow it (well at least initially, they seem to be coming round!) even though I have confirmation from the hotel that ALL rooms have a garden view.

If you want to be sure, then I would look elsewhere x
    Gone ... or have I?
