cala gran is the worst capsite i have ever been at with haven, Marton mere by far the better. a very run down place
  • hi there, ive just booked up for cala gran ourselves on the 23 april ,but ive upgraded to a gold superior caravan..so for £60.00 - the £20 deposit at the end of the holiday i think thats brill.and that's for 4 adults and 2 children with gas and elec plus passes and linen....what do you people want on here....lol
  • Sounds like Haven to me, would make sense as i used to be their customer care manager and i know they are in quite a bit of trouble at the moment so this will be one huge publicity stunt. If it's not haven then fair play to everyone who manages to bag themselves a holiday

How much trouble are they in? I need to pay the balance of my summer holiday, about £500 in the next week but now i'm a bit converned?

    Thanks

:( My friend rang Haven on Thursday, was told someone would call back...heard nothing.
She rang the head office number on Friday and was told someone would ring her back straight away...heard nothing...
I rang the number all Friday,Sat and Sun and all i got was a message saying "due to high demand we cannot take your call at this time"

I'll try and ring again tomorrow or Weds when i get some credit...even the reduced price hols better then nothin...just wanna treat my little girl to a holiday! :)

Stokie, we're going to be there at the same time as you. there's 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 children (2 girls, 2 boys), we are Australian, although the kids have lost their accents, but my hubby and I still sound australian. So if you hear any aussie's while you're there give us a shout lol
Anybody else going to be there at the same time??

Cala Gran is great, we have been there a few times before and as I have said on here earlier a holiday is what you make of it, and for a £20 refundable deposit, what do you want!

Looking forward to 23rd April! :)

I have been given a free holiday on the 26th but I cannot go :(

If anyone knows if its possible for someone to go in my place then you are welcome to pm me.

I have booked for Caister (no idea where that is as I asked for Blackpool!) on the 26th of March for 4 people.
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11

Some people or so fussy aren't they.

I am going to Cala Gran on a freebie holiday, by choice. I asked for Cala Gran because I have been there 3 times before and we all love it.

I don't see what Kamasooty is complaining about. He/she seems to be the only one with anything bad to say about Cala Gran.

And if they have had a massive revamp then I'm most certain it would've been after October when the park would've been closed for the winter season.
We stayed at Pontins, brean sands last year and Cala Gran is better by far.

I would recommend Cala Gran to anybody looking for an enjoyable family holiday
