No, and people won't stop killing people, or abusing children, or thieving just because it's illegal. Perhaps we should all ignore the laws on those things too? You do not have the right to pick and choose which laws you like and want to abide by, and which ones you don't.0 -
The laws not much of a deterrant really is it? with prisons stuffed full to breaking point and re offending really high.
The majority of people choose ot to murder or abuse children because its morally wrong. Those who do commit these crimes are not deterred by the law at all.
Theft will always be rife because of the quick gains and people are prepared to take the hit if needed.
People will always do what they want and accept the consequences if they get caught.0 -
The OP clearly states they only sold it to their friends.
I think everyone deserves a second chance and help, he is a human being with feelings too. maybe if people were more supportive there wouldn't be people like him around.
It's people like you with ridiculous attitudes like that which have messed up our justice system.
Shut up.0 -

Your logic is fundamentally flawed. People who commit any crime are not deterred by the law - if they were then they would not commit the crime. That is neither an argument to repeal the law nor ignore the law. But as you say, some people, a minority, will ignore laws as it suits them and then the consequences of that decision is theirs. And that includes drug dealers. The OP, however, doesn't appear to grasp that point. The poor dear doesn't accept the consequences of any of his actions, including his choice to break the law. None of it was his fault and now he's traumatised by the awful things that other people are responsible for. Shame about that.0 -
If i assault someone in the heat of the moment I don't think about the law, law is there for the consequences of actions. But dealing drugs the offender knows it's against the law and still don't give a damn, what excuse for those who aren't desperate which i think the OP isn't he has a laptop or pc to sell possessions to sell before even turning to drugs to sell.0

The OP clearly states they only sold it to their friends.
When I worked for the FSS, this was called "The BT Defence" by us cynical people analysing the 'goods'.
The MODA 1971 makes no distinction between supplying for profit and supply 'at cost or loss' to friends and family.
The OP voluntarily dropped out of a college course (the educational equivalent of resigning without a job to go to) and had his benefits sanctioned.
It seems he does a lot of things first and then finds out that bad things happen afterwards.
However, ignorance of the law is no excuse and he must accept the consequences of his actions.
What is he supposed to do for money? Well, find a job, rely on family and friends, re-enroll at college, go to the CAB for advice. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
