I'm really in the SH*T - Jobseekers Allowance

Hi All,

So I originally applied for JSA on the 2nd of April, took a few weeks, dozens of phone calls, letters only to find out my decision was rejected due to "lack of proof for my education" I subsequently sent off official documents proving I was no longer at college and in fact eligable for JSA.. They accepted my letters as official proof but still closed the claim.

I was advised to reclaim and asked for it to be backdated, in which I did. (16 of may)

I rang up today to find out how my claim was, and I was told that I cannot drop out of college and claim JSA..

I voluntarily left college and now they're telling me after 2 and a half months of trying to claim what I am owed that I am not eligable until the end of the college term..

I'm in a really bad way, I am also in court for possession with itent to supply, but can you really blame me? If I didn't I would be dead right now or doing bank jobs!

My anxiety and depression has sky-rocketted and I am also going to be homeless on the 20th of this month

Thank you Government.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Were you in receipt of any student finance? Do your parents still receive CB/ CTC for you?

You turned into a drug dealer and are now blaming the Gov? LOL

There are a lot of people who have nothing to live on and they aren't turning to crime!

You are the one who dropped out of college and now seem to be blaming everyone but yourself.

What did you do for £ when you were in college?

No doubt everyone on here will disagree with me here
