The Suffolk BS RS I signed up for yesterday had an FSCS sheet dated 01/24 that I agreed that I'd read...fuzzzzy said:
Yes I have opened accounts since 1 December and all of them still have had £85k quoted on their FSCS info sheet that you are asked to tick to say you have read at opening.Patr100 said:Can't remember which ones but I did come across more than one bank site in the last few weeks that hasn't updated their FSCS protection statement to £120k .0 -

I did a transfer from T212 to Virgin Money. I got the T212 notification/request to sign on Friday, and the funds landed with Virgin yesterday (Monday). So you might be in luck...Patr100 said:They cut it fine, just got the request to confirm the transfer from Trading to Principality. Had to sign with the mouse as not on the app. ."It might take up to 3 business days for the money to reach your account."
Yeah let's do it before Christmas eve and when a weekend follows Boxing day!0 -
I have had no notification of this rate reduction in February. How were you notified?clairec666 said:I notice that Principality's online bonus 5 access cash ISA (4.2%, but dropping to 4% in February) has disappeared from their website. I imagine it is going to be replaced with a new issue at the same (i.e. new lower) rate, as this is what they have done before.0 -
Principality had not yet notified individual customers.wiseonesomeofthetime said:

They only have to give 14 days written notice to customers who have over £100 in their account.
However, the information is already on their website. For instance, at https://www.principality.co.uk/home/bank-of-england-base-rate-changes

There was a banner at the top of the website saying about rate changes. So I went to the product page and it gave specific details for that account, which now appears to be withdrawn so that information is not available. Presumably they'll email me about it at some point.wiseonesomeofthetime said:

(Principality Transfers)Patr100 said:
Well if I allow for the couple of days before they had my paper transfer form, the 15 days will take it to around xmas eve so until I get the request from Trading212 to actually release (the next step) , I don't expect any movement for quite a few days until the banks start moving again. Getting a human to follow up is going be even harder til the new year.TheBanker said:
I am just about to initiate the same transfer. Given that Principality need a paper form, I'm already a week behind due to not having a working printer at home any more!Patr100 said:Email from my trading212 (my bonus has long since expired)Trading 212 Cash ISA: From 3.85% to 3.6% AER (variable)As of 25.12.2025:
Been 12 working days but it's still not transferred over to my new Principality ISA
And with the post, and Christmas, I'm not expecting this to complete until mid-late January!
It's really tedious how some can enable online transfers while other insist on paper forms to start it.
I posted my form on Friday afternoon, but I think I missed the last post collection, and I only used a second class stamp. Despite that, there's a message showing in my Principality account saying they've received the form and are processing it... so maybe my critisism of Royal Mail was unfair on this occasion!1 -
Well my Trading212 to Principality ISA is complete. Just logged in and higher balance showing . Only annoyance is that Principality never send me any email updates or notifications of progress or completion. I had to keep logging in to check progress.TheBanker said:

Anyone any experience of the Tembo 4.3 % fix. I haven't funded yet, but it beats many of my current open ones so I was planning on transferring them over to it with the exception of leaving some flexible ones open elsewhere. Am I remembering right that the 4.3% applies for a year from transfer date and does anyone have any experience of how efficient the process is?0

I think you're out of luck as they have stopped any new transfers and new money whilst they review the rates.s71hj said:Anyone any experience of the Tembo 4.3 % fix.
