Single Access online flexible ISA interest rate reduction to 4.30% (inc. bonus) effective from 25 OctoberThanks for this. I have managed to find my email in the sp@m folder saying the same. I was going to transfer my funds to another cash ISA, but I still think the Marsden one is a fairly good rate, WITH the pretty good bonus rate ... for now.1 -

Anyone know if Virgin Money will allow a partial transfer/partial retention of funds on a maturing fixed cash ISA as I can’t see anything on the maturity documents?
Their current rates provide for only one option on fixes (1 year 4.16%) and nothing beyond that and I’m keen to fix some of the funds for up to 3 years.
Thanks.

On maturity VM FRISAs usually become whatever instant access ISA they have on offer at the time. If you want to split your maturity proceeds I suggest you open your chosen FRISA elsewhere, shortly before maturity date to secure the rate. Ensure you select ‘wait for maturity’ on the new providers form & enter the amount you want to xfer.benny5 said:Anyone know if Virgin Money will allow a partial transfer/partial retention of funds on a maturing fixed cash ISA as I can’t see anything on the maturity documents?

Once that xfer is complete, repeat the process if you want more than 1 FRISA. Then finally xfer any Instant access ISA.Don’t try to do more than 1 xfer at a time. It might cause problems.1 -

Just received the notification on maturity which is the 24th October so I've got less than ten days to act.
Thanks.0 -
