Thanks for this timeline..I am having to do a similar one but am going via Halifax (was first via T212 but they have an enormous waiting time 😫)mr_accountant said:
Unknown to me when opening the Chip flexible ISA they do not do transfers in from Monument Bank so I had to do monument to paragon, then paragon to chip.mr_accountant said:
That's correct so I transferred from Monument to Paragon, both flexible instant cash isa'sguli said:friolento said:
Yes I was, and got the promo rate, for both, the ISA and the instant access saverdanny13579 said:
I was about to do this but when I requested account closure from Chip they sent me a message with this line:friolento said:I closed my Chip entire account, deleted the app as soon as I could no longer log in, re-installed the app, signed up again with same email, same phone no, same name, same address, same NINO. All on the same day.
"Please also bear in mind that if you close your Chip Cash ISA, you won’t be able to re-open it or open a new one."
Were you able to open a new cash ISA with Chip after closing your account and applying for a new one?
Were you able to use the promo code to get the bonus ISA rate for a year?
Re: Chip - FYI all, there is no ISA transfer drop down available to transfer from Monument to Chip
now started a switch from paragon to chip, will see how this one goes
First transfer took 6 days, and the second transfer took 5 days including a weekend!
All closing interests appear to have been added correctly, and no input from me other than initial requests, well done all three banks and now will benefit from 5% at chip, albeit variable.0 -
Monument must be terrible if it’s got to the point that providers are refusing transfers from a specific provider.0

I received 2 e-mails today at about the same time. It is turning into an "ISA comedy show".
"Thank you for your request to transfer your ISA funds to our management. We have been advised by Monument Bank that they have rejected our request to transfer your funds due to a current year transfer limit being reached on your account. You may wish to discuss this with them. If you still wish to transfer your funds to us, please could you complete and return to us another ISA transfer form."
"Your request to transfer money from your Monument Easy Access Cash ISA to Vida Bank Limited has been cancelled by your new provider. This means we are unable to complete your request and your money remains in your Monument Easy Access Cash ISA. If you would like details about why the transfer was cancelled, or you wish to start a new transfer request, please contact Vida Bank Limited."
"a current year transfer limit" statement is simply not true. I've just completed 2 test transfers from Monument to Moneybox and CMC, both worked... there is no limit on transfers from Monument anyway.

Not sure if this is of any help, but when I recently checked on my transfer from Monument to Vida, Vida asked me if it was full or partial (mine was full) because, they said, they were aware of some issues with partial transfers from Monument. My full transfer took 11 days to complete from initial request.allegro120 said:

Are they perhaps guilty of sticking rigidly to the amount the customer states as the value of the ISA, but unless you are doing a partial you can't be exact (as there would be interest to be added which you can only estimate as even if your provider has a daily tracker, you don't know how long the ISA will stay open for after you submit the form.)0

I opened a Tembo cash ISA last night, ready for when my Moneybox promotion rate ends at the end of June. This morning I initiated the transfer out of the tiny amount of money I had remaining in my Trading 212 cash ISA, and it has appeared in Tembo in less than 3 hours!
Has anyone recently transferred from Moneybox to Tembo? How long did it take?1 -
Impressive..but then I've also had a swift transfer out of T212irregular_saver said:I opened a Tembo cash ISA last night, ready for when my Moneybox promotion rate ends at the end of June. Anyone planning on transferring in to Vida, the process is a bit old fashioned and convoluted! You have to go to the website and NOT be logged in and there's a form to fill in in useful documents. You print it off, write details in then email or post it off!!!!0

Was the same for me with Principality BS. They did send me the form, as I do not possess a working printer, however, neglected to provide a pre-paid envelope, so £1.70 for a first class stamp!s71hj said:Anyone planning on transferring in to Vida, the process is a bit old fashioned and convoluted! Cash ISA transfer from Trading 212 now commenced. Let's see how long it takes. Partials from T212 to VM took 15 amd 13 working days respectively.0
