Has anyone closed a Trading212 Cash ISA? I wondered if they're like Chip, when closing means they forbid one opening another ISA with them in the future. TIA.1 -

I transferred 2 VM ISA's to T212 recently, requested on Friday and all done on Monday. Is yours taking long?0 -

Does it say contacting provider on T212 app? 🤔0 -

If I were to apply for a new ISA within say 14 days before the new tax year (so in 24/25), and if I funded it only in the new tax year (25/26) would that be allowed?
I have already used my full 24/25 ISA allowance.
In general, yes that is possible. I did it last year, but check the T&Cs, They normally say something like 'if the ISA isn't funded by 3rd April if will become next year's ISA subscription.'2 -
West Brom BS
Rate reductions were announced and official emails about it will be going out on the 24th and 25th (send in batches). So anyone with a WestBrom ISA can transfer away from the 28th without having to give 60 days notice.
I inquired about that last week and just had a call back to have this confirmed.

I was going to transfer Shawbrook Cash ISA which has reduced the rate, to the Coventry Building Society ISA (withdrawals allowed 6 x a year), but the rate reduces in March.
Many of the ones recommended on MSE don't allow transfers in.
Is it better to wait until after 5th April 2025 for a better rate? It doesn't look like bank interest rates will reduce much now as inflation is increasing.0 -

5.25% Virgin fix is coming to maturity end of March and not sure where to put it. I still got a
Virgin Money Easy Access Cash ISA Exclusive Issue 2 sitting for well over a year at zero balance. This account could be opened at the time and not required funding so opened it speculatively. It's been at 4.76% AER for a long time but is reducing to 4.51% AER on the 24th Feb.
My Moneybox ISA also comes to maturity around the same time and will not be competitive once the bonus has expired.
My eyes were on Principality BS Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA Issue 4 at 4.7% because I am already a customer there but they also reduce their rate to 4.5% on the 13th March.
Monument Bank has an Easy Access Cash ISA still showing at 4.76%, which is competitive, but the question is if they keep the rate or reduce as well. So far no info on that I think. Also, not a customer there so would be good to hear from existing customers if they can be recommended.0
