Might be bad news, service wise, if they get inundated with applications. Will cost a fortune in umbrellas!

Ruffler Bank are obviously looking for a bigger slice of the cash-ISA pie. Maybe the umbrellas are reserved for those who deposit 9k+?
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

This list needs to be updated.
The National Counties 6.26% doesnt apply any more and also the Newcastle Building Society - when I go online it says 6% not 6.6%.
Am I looking in the right place?

Dear all, thought I would tell everyone, the 6.6% ISA account from newcastle Building Society closed today. Customer service informed me all deposits into the account must be made by friday 4th July 08. This rule also applies to transferrs from other providers.

Newcastle only advertised this account for two weeks.

Anyone who opened the account, well done, but get your money in by friday. Customer service said they will not accept deposit after this date.
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

I would like to add my 0.02 cents to the previous comments on the service from this bank. I wouldnt call it good, I would call it absolutley excellent! Never before have I dealt with a more understanding financial operator.
Speaking from experience, I would recommend anyone to them. All my queeries about my account coulndt have been sorted any better or quicker. Well worth top marks for customer service.:D

The list is a bit out of date, since Kazza has suffered a bereavement and so hasn't been around mse to update it.

Looks like the latest issue from the Principality is their Direct Fixed Rate Cash ISA Issue 36 paying 6.37% AER.

I think that link is incorrect tiptoe. The correct link for Principality's 6.37% AER Direct Fixed Rate Cash ISA is here.

Skipton BS and Julian Hodge bank are both offering 6.5% fixed rates. Is that any good? Never heard of those banks b4. Newbie here...
