Does Principality ever offer loyalty accounts?
Wondering whether to bother transferring a token amount of my 4.1% Coventry ISA just to be a new customer of Principality.0 -
In normal circumstances, you would open the new ISA and then request an internal transfer but I'm not sure how this would work with the Online ISA, as they state you can only hold one at any one time.Harry227 said:
My online ISA account with the Principality comes to an end (bonus period) at the end of this month. Does anyone know if I need to close and then open a new online ISA to get the improved rate?SnowMan said:
If I was in your position, I would send them a secure message or ring them and ask them how best to go about this - they might even do it all for you. I've always found them to be really helpful and fairly quick to deal with queries.
Whatever you do though, don't close the current ISA yourself or your money will lose it's ISA status and paying that money into a new ISA would then count towards your 2023-24 ISA allowance.0 -
I've been a Principality customer for a few years now and don't remember them doing so - at least none that have fallen on my radar.jpsman said:Does Principality ever offer loyalty accounts?

I really like them and currently hold a number of their Regular Saver accounts but one thing to be aware of if you're looking at ISAs is that they don't utilise the BACs ISA transfer service, so ISA transfers (both in and out) can often be fairly slow. Saying that, the transfers I've done have been carried out within the allowed timescales but (unlike BACS transfers) it normally takes weeks rather than days.2 -

You can open any of their available accounts to get membership. Why complicate it with an Isa transfer?Does Principality ever offer loyalty accounts?

This is very important for many and some won't realise.refluxer said:

I can't be bothered with paper forms and snail mail. Plus potentially losing out on interest while waiting for a transfer out should the account stops being competitive0 -
Yes YBS is 5% up to 20k. Sorry you missed out on itdlevene said:
Nice. I'd made my peace with staying put with Coventry until the next BoE decision but good to see they're still creeping upwards.ForumUser7 said:Principality Online ISA -> 4.20% ~ MoneyFacts
Almost at parity with normal EA, which is great. Though I'm still salty about missing out on the YBS loyalty ISA which I think is now at 5%!0 -
Me too, so glad I managed to get 2 of themwiseonesomeofthetime said:

I'm somewhat bemused to have received my paper annual online statements from Cynergy Bank today. Unfortunately, because I've had so many different issues, this amounts to 14 individual statements each posted separately! Weirdly they don't include the relevant issue number on each statement.Stompa0
