If you follow the link I provided, in the screenshot you can see by clicking the full search button at the top, it brings up a side menu that allows you to select monthly interest. Then click revised search at the bottom and you will only see monthly payment ones.

Then look at the ISAs you fancy, click product specification and on the right hand side it will say if the interest can be paid away e.g. to your bank account. If it only says compounded then you cant.

I don't see why not, I've done this before now (though not with Close). As long as you advise both receiving and sending bank/building society, they should cancel the transfer on your instruction.
