Im in my 6th consecutive year of exam stress and have at least another two to go:eek::eek::eek:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Really don,t know what to do - I think I will cancel the spa and it might make her think about how she treats us......

Evening all
Slightly better day today, or maybe I was just so rude to everyone they left me alone.
Floss, the hours were non-contracted, so we've always known they could be taken away, but we were told last term that they wouldn't be.
I'm one of 5 people with the same surname at work, hence the email mistake, but as you say, not really my fault.
The departments are over their Repro budget & yes I do keep telling them, so today I went on the attack & showed the powers that be, 4 boxes of work that I have produced lately that are to be binned because people changed their mind about what they needed.
Have a good evening eveyone.
Hugs Hester

I now feel like giving her sweet nothing...:(
Rant over - going for a bath to calm down!
Oh nothat's awful. Sounds like such a lovely present as well. Maybe she doesn't deserve it, although be prepared for the fall out if you don't go.

I have a 16 year old DGS who is doing his GCSE's at the moment .But being quite a no nonsense sort of Granny I just wouldn't put up with rudeness no matter what exams he was doing .I gave him an ear blistering this afternoon when I got to my Dds house as he had made himself some lunch and left all the mucky dishes and pots all around the kitchen .I do the school run with his two youngest brothers every morning and before I leave my DDs her kitchen is tidy the breakfast things all washed and put away and the tops wiped so when I go back at 3,45 I make the boys a snack and then prep dinner for DD and son-in-law as they don't get home until 6.30 ish,so I don't expect to find my Dds neat and tidied up kitchen in a mess and ben lying on the sofa with his xbox.Suitably chastened I explained that I was
A.not his servant.and
B not the cleaning fairy
so he had to shift himself and tidy it up immediatley
He did apologise and said he would make sure he didn't do it again.I think boys seem to be easier than girls I know my two when doing their exams many years ago were very hormonal and stressed but rudeness is no excuse.I would agree that if she didn't want to go then you would go instead, and tough luck she would miss out. You are not resonsible for her hair she is its her hair .Stand your ground honey it maybe hard but life is hard and not an easy ride for anyone .
At 16 she is far too old to have tantrums.
Just off to bed for a read now I'm glad I sorted my shower out it worked fine tonight
Take care all
JackieO xx
P.S. He's got Maths calculus tomorrow fingers crossed0 -

Good on you HH, let someone else sort out the wasteful staff rather than you be blamed for it.
