Found a ring what should I do ?

A few days back two neighbours walked past me having an argument and one punched the other. Then about 100 meteres along the road I found a ring on the pavement. Im guessing maybe she through it down in temper but I may be wrong, perhaps it isnt hers. Next day police and ambulance came to their house. I picked up the ring…

I doubt they would think the ring the police if she threw it in anger most people would assume its been stolen or down a drain. The police will make no effort at all to find the owner.

The sensible and decent thing would of been first to ask the lady if it was her ring, I presume its either an engagement or wedding ring so she would be grateful for it back not embarrased about you asking her .
