Yup as soon as payment is cleared they are gone!! I might wait til I get first pay cheque to pay them though just in case anything goes wrong job wise (I don't know what would happen but I am paranoid!!)
I am going to be sticking around for a while (joining the long haulers) - would I be better on the diary board or am I ok to carry on here do you think?

Quick update: Monday spent £3 on a few bits I'd forgotten at the supermarket but Tuesday was a NSD - hurrah! I think I can do another one today!
Made bread last night by hand and you were all right it isn't that hard! I don't know if it will actually work out cheaper in the long run but tastes yummy and I love how it makes the house smell
Really need to keep up the momentum, seem to lose a little once you've done all the big thingsmust keep going though, I don't want to go back to my old ways!! Will do a new list this afternoon.

Everyone has days like that - I know I do! The good thing is that you've recognised it and know how it feels when you buy things you know you don't need.
Chin up, you're doing greatBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi Squidgy,
I read this while thread today, it was like a novel! It was obvious that with your attitude getting a decent job was only a matter of short time. Well done on changing your ways, I too have found it inspiring. In the past I have hit that £50k mark too, I am doing much better now but I could still vastly improve my spending. Thank you for sharing, you have done really well. Don't be too harsh on yourself about yesterday, you've made a lot of steps in the right direction. Well done!

You're right though Sista, a lot of it is just breaking the habit. So disappointed with myself but at least I can return it.
Aaaw thank you Richard! Haha, I wish it was a novel i.e fictional!!
Moan over, am off to do something productive towards busting this debt.
