Where can you buy a flat for £150,000 in London

I've been looking for a flat in London, ideally Shepard's Bush but can't find anywhere for around £150,000. Really not keen on buying a leasehold but would if there was nothing else. Any advice appreciated.

If you want to buy a flat, what's the problem with leasehold? Freehold flats come with problems...0

A flat is always leasehold.
I doubt you will find anywhere for that budget i'm afraid.
CC debt at 8/7/13 - £12,186.17
Barclaycard £11,027.58
Halifax £1,158.59
5 year plan to live unsecured debt free and move home0 -
You'll be lucky to get a studio for that. Unless you look at shared ownership £150k doesn't go anywhere in London.0

If you take a look at https://www.rightmove.co.uk and search with £150k as your maximum price it might help you get an idea of which areas are affordable and what you'd get for your money0

When buying a flat as far as I know it will either be leasehold or a share of a freehold. Both have their own pros & cons I think. I think when I was looking the other day that East London is pretty cheap but might come with it's own dowfalls.... As above do a search on rightmove for 'london', enter your budget and see.1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
MFW 2013 no. 62 £10,000/£10,000
MFW 2014 no 62 £8000/£70000 -
Here's one you could negotiate to that price.

I thought this was nice. Please note I know virtually nothing about London property market or areas to live in!I'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."
Mortgage is my only debt - Original mortgage - January 2008 = £88,400, March 2014 = £47,000 Chipping away slowly! Now saving to move.0 -
I am slightly surprised that you can indeed buy a flat in Shepherd's Bush for about 150k
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-37792670.html for example - just go to rightmove and primelocation and put in your specs.
This one is more White City than S Bush, but you won't get anything near the green for that kind of price...

The dehumidifier in the lounge might make me ask if there's a reason its £150k in all honesty. Damp might be a problem.0 -
Where is the dehumidifier? I can't see one."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
