LOL Jojo - I am glad you are bored as that is a great response.

I agree the bed is a bit horrid <<sorry>> looks like a tomb. Would give me claustrophobia in a heartbeat. Keep the old one.

The old one is kaput. It has a hole under my side we call 'the bucket'.:o:o:o. I don't mind too much but because my health relates to brain/ spine nerve pathways dh wants to get a new one so i am in a better position. ( he would sleep on my side but it gives him back ache!)

I'm getting rid of a load of plastic containers on the basis of Jo-Jo's premise that you can't fit a body in them! (ex's!) :rotfl:
  • Maybe this is a new technique for assessing items?

Are they useful for a) disposing of bodies

    B) evading attack from zombie armies or deranged axemen with a grudge against Tupperware?

And before anyone gets smart, obstacles and trip hazards to not count as being useful.

Is it wrong that this post made me laugh, then immediately start scanning the room for what I'd use in the event of a zombie / deranged axeman attack? :rotfl:

Far more MSE to get a pig to dispose of dead bodies. Horrible thought. I leave the thread for one morning and now we're disposing of people, lol...

I left the thread to take aunty's belongings to an auction house (which was not closed for summer). She has now got the decluttering bug!
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • You'd have to build a shed, find a means of disposing of the droppings, store food for the days when the cull rate was too low and most importantly, you can't send it back when you've finished with it - and this is the anti hoarding thread, after all...... :)

Whitewing, I thought, how would having a pig help...then I realised. _pale_
But poor pig, I wouldn't feed my ex to it, the pig has more intelligence. ;)

I am a big fan of The Walking Dead, and must admit I've never seen them throwing plastic containers and lids at the zombies...:D:p

It's amazing what I'm finding in my kitchen cupboards, and I am now aware that I have not made the most of my gadgets as I look at stuff and think, what does this belong to!

Hi everyone. New to this thread, I have decided to start de-cluttering (or attempt to anyway). It's not easy! I live in a small flat, and we have a spare room just full of 'stuff' (which may come in useful, hmmm). Managed to sort some of it into a 'sell' pile and a 'charity' pile. The charity stuff hasn't left yet... most of the sell stuff has been photographed and advertised, but just can't shift much of it...

Plus my dad is in the middle of selling his house and I have a load of stuff there from years ago... I visited the other day and was sent home with a boot load, so needless to say the 'stuff' room is full again!! Most of the stuff at Dads I had forgotten I had, so obviously don't need it, but don't know what to do with it?

I have lots at mums too... seems where ever I go, I leave a lot of things in my wake lol.

What I would really love is to turn the 'stuff' room into a multigym, but that seems impossible at the moment! :(

As a small holder i feel onliged to tell you you don't send a pig back when you are finished with it, you put it in the freezer.
