With a bit of luck you may get one or two pennies in the pound refunded.

If so, then Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 makes the credit card company equally responsible for performance of the contract.
Read MSE's article on Section 75 for more info.
That article seems to concentrate on refunds, but you should be able to get the cc co to pay for the remedial work already agreed. You will probably need to get a quote for the work from another company.
In short, speak to your credit card company.
This also applies to some other forms of credit.0 -

Yes we did however when we contacted them they were very unhelpful and said we were outwith the 120 days. Also as we have nothing in writing as it was a verbal agreement they stated there was nothing they cld do.0 -
That sounds like a chargeback you/they were talking about.Yes we did however when we contacted them they were very unhelpful and said we were outwith the 120 days. Also as we have nothing in writing as it was a verbal agreement they stated there was nothing they cld do.
There is a time limit with a chargeback scheme.
The is no such limit with a Section 75 claim.
The floor is faulty, and if Infloor hadn't gone bust you would've reasonably expected them to put the problem right.
As Infloor can no longer do that, you are entitled to get the credit card company to provide the remedy because under Section 75 they are equally liable.
There is a sample letter that you might find useful in that MSE article.
It is probably a good idea to get a quote or two for the remedial work and submit copies with your letter.
In that way you can claim for a specific amount, which might make it more difficult for the cc co to wriggle out.0 -

I can confrm, they also open in hillington in glasgow. The same place as before, trading as infloor but company name is now global international products ltd. Tried getting my previous order or refund, they take no responsbility, say the company is new just trading as infloor. But same staff as before. Also, they appear to own another shop along the same street budget flooring direct, different company but i did a check online they appear to be linked
