Today is the day i checked my bank and realised i have nothing left to pay out for :cool:
It is strange, very, very strange. All this money is mine <evil smiley>
I have a new job starting soon with more spondoolies and no, yes NO credit cards.
It feels mighty weird not logging into my CC account to pay ££ off but I'm sure i can get used to it ;)

  • Diary i've neglected you :( but i'm back
Things going well and have managed to save £200 this month.
Now we're debt free however there are lots of things to pay out for. Things that have been un-affordable when the 20+k loomed over us (new mattress, new duvets for the kids, car service etc) so we don't really seem to have any extra money :rotfl:

We only now have the emergency card (which we don't know the pin which is ironic) which has a 0 balance and have not gone into our overdraft which is

The dog has to go to the vet next month so that's more ££ to spend out. Hopefully that will be the end of the spending though.....

  • I know how you feel! When we became debtfree I thought that we would be rolling in it, but after replacing lots of things around the house that we desperately needed and a few treats too we had very little left to play with! I also started lots of pots too so we wouldn't be caught out again so most of our spare money goes in there now ;)

Once we buy our home we'll be joining you on the mortgage free journey I think :D xxx

I think we too will be needing to do a bit of spending when we are debt free, few small things need doing around the house and I just keep thinking wait just a couple more months :rotfl:
