Don't worry, everyone reacts like that to the 'dodgy hug'.And yeah, breadmakers are great. I haven't got one myself but my grandma bought one a few weeks ago as my grandad has just had an op and she can't drive so they can't get to the shops for bread atm. She says it's brilliant and I'm really jealous. I want one too!

I'm now thinking i'm not going to buy one as someone has pointed out that by the time i've bought the bread maker, flour, yeast and paid for the leccy it'll probably be less hassle to go out and buy it :rotfl:DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0

Morning Sista
Have a look on freecycle, or local ads for breadmakers. For a lot of people they're gimmicks so they buy them use them a few times then they're put away and forgotten aboutLBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -

Morning! I'll be subscribing to your blog , Sista
I used to have a breadmaker but they never really turned out well so got rid of it. I don't miss it - tbh I get loaves in when I see them on yellow sticker at the supermarket and just put them in the freezer. For fresh fresh bread ... we occasionally get the part-baked baguettes and just bake them as and when.

I keep pondering on a bread maker too ... It's about number26 of things on my list tho
, behind a housekeeper , gardener , chauffeur driven car etc , etc you get the picture :rotfl:
Keep up the good work Sista !
I am back at work today & it sucks after 2 very short weeks

Hey sista, thanks for doing the diary, always like reading your posts!
I am eating cheese on toast made with bread from my panasonic bread-maker, had it about 12 odd years and it's fab! I use Aldi or lidl bread flour, bit of salt, bit of sugar, 3tbsp og sunflower oil and always get a great loaf.
With help from the grocery challenge board I spend an average of £65 a week for a family of 4 (my budget's higher this month due to a weekend with friends involving lots of booze!). Previously I was spending £100 to £120. We have had to cut right back though, no squash for the kids, just water and we have the 27p for 80 tea bags and 1 bottle of wine a week. I try and use every scrap of everything and bake a lot so I am the opposite of you, could really do with losing 1/2 stone!!
Although our debt is paid off I am so worried about getting back into it, we are self employed and have to watch every penny at the moment. Our boiler hasn't worked properly since before Christmas and my car is on it's last legs, and needs 4 new tyres which alone would cost more than it's worth!!
So that's why I still hang around the debt free board, got to stay on the straight and narrow else we're f'ed.:p
Blimey, I seems to have offloaded quite heavily here! Sorry about that! Have a great week and see you around the board.:)Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Hiya hope you've had a good day.
bread maker def worth ago, I've got a panasonic too and talking to others it does seem there one of the best. can honestly say I havn't bought a loaf since I got it last Feb! I still buy reduced rolls to freeze and go with soup etc but the loaves just taste better and cost so little; 8 sachets of yeast less than 70p (approx 3 loaves a sachet) and although I tend to make granary style bread you can make a decent loaf from value flour if you're particularly skint at less than 20p a loaf!
Anyway sorry to hijack
Feeling a little low today day 1 of a 9 day stretch at work and struggling with DS1's mental health issues and his inherent laziness  and the effect on DS2 who's trying to do GCSE's!
Oh well failing mum off to watch corrie

Doing our first ever Aldi shop on Friday as usually go to Asda and i popped in there today to see if they had a booklet thing, i couldn't believe how cheap it was  quite looking forward to going shopping with DH now
