Old GOLDFISH credit card

I held a Goldfish credit cartd 2005 - 2006 - I then moved house and paid of the debt in full. Stupidly I destroyed all the paperwork:( I believe that Goldfish no longer exists? I was told that Barclaycard took over the Goldfish accounts - I have written to Barclaycard giving my previous address/previous surname/ relevent date's etc but they cannot trace any details at all for me? I am at a loss as to what to do next? help:eek:

Not sure when the Sale to Barclays was, prior to that, Goldfish were a subsidary of the Lloyds Banking Group.

Moomim, I also had a Goldfish credit card and on the reverse of my statement shows that "Goldfish is a trading name of Lloyds TSB Bank". However, I've sent a PPI complaint to LTSB regarding this matter along with evidence and was blatantly told last night that I did not have PPI with LTSB but with Goldfish and that LTSB did not want to know. To my knowledge Goldfish are no longer in existence so I'm trying to find out who I should be sending my complaint to, but this complaint has also gone to the FO as I believe I've just been fobbed off and LTSB do not want to pay out! So best of luck, and they wonder why people use PPI claiming companies to pursue these matters yet the banks don't want you to use them!

With regards to Goldfish, I believe it is owned by Bank of Scotland plc.

Goldfish Credit Cards are now owned by Barclaycard....I know because I have had nothing but grief since they took over, I wasn`t even informed but they claim I was sent a letter. Still arguing with them over it and it has cost me a few quid. Too long a story to tell in full. Case of average Joe v Barclays Big Boys !!!!

Know this was posted a while ago ,but if its the contact details you require , I don't destroy paperwork ever.... , and somewhere in my files , I do have some old Goldfish statements . If you require addresses ect , could hunt them out One thing I do remember though is that they were linked with British Gas at the start

The old address on statements is useless since Goldfish no longer trades and was taken over by Barclaycard.

I just spoke with HSBC (HFC Bank) about an old Goldfish Mastercard. They could only confirm that I did have a old Golfish CC, from taking my name and DOB, but were unable to give me any further information, due to it been removed because of the 5 year Data Protection rule. However, I was told to write to the Correspondence Dept, HSBC Bank and request further information, as they may be able to recall it from the Archive.

I've kept some of my paperwork. I'm sending my claim to an address on a compliments slip and I'll see if it comes back to me. Goldfish, PO Box 25201, Glasgow, G2 8YG.
