I am thinking of changing to Sky. How will I know my computer is compatable with the Sky router ? It is about 4 years old and will it be suitable for "wireless" connections ? Currently is fine with my Safecom router and getting 8mbs.

Should be ok if it's working with a safecom and getting 8Mb.
From the Sky website ~PC minimum specification:
* Windows 2000 or higher
* 133 MHz or higher
* Spare Ethernet port
* 100 MB hard drive space
* RAM - 64 MB or higher
Mac minimum specification:
* Processor - 266MHz Power PC G3 or greater
* Spare Ethernet port
* OS X v10.2.6 (Jaguar) or higher
* RAM - 128 MB
I would be very surprised if you don't have at least that on a 4 year old PC.0 -
Thanks for the reply. I thought I might need a wireless network card in the computer.

If your computer is/will be near to your router, then you connect using a network cable. You will need a network card. Modern computers have network cards built in, does yours?0
