Just tried the MAM moc with the smokey MAM sausage and till would not accept it :eek::eek::eek: This was the 200g 'U' shaped sausage, not sure if store specific or they have blocked it?

I got 4 and was quite insistent that it was correct product, luckily passing supervisor told SA to put through as non scan.....Glad she hadn't read the one per transaction bit:cool: Kept insisting that not product in picture so more trub than worth leaving that bit on!!

This was T Extra btw

Had to have these approved as a non-scan coupon. Basically it says customer has not spent enough, even though there is no mention of spend on the coupon. It is because they have priced dropped the product. It is worth a trip to CS if you cant get it sorted out on the till. Might have to dig your heels in as they dont like you to have the product for nothing. LOL

    4. If they still refuse to accept the coupons, despite the above, talk to them in a calm and gentle manner (even if you're against the trout of all trouts :D). Read out the Ts and Cs of the coupon and emphasise that it does not say 1 per customer, it only says 1 per transaction. Also remind them that the coupon entitles you to £1 off ANY MAMW product and that there is no minimum spend. You should at this point, get your sausages. :D

    :)

All great advice as usual from Dr K

Like everyone else I'm going to give it a go but should add that getting the SA to focus too much on the T&Cs could go against you as it says not to be used in conjunction with another offer and the £1 pricetag is a special offer. Of course it's doubtful the SA will know that

Digs England rugby shirt out of wardrobe , dusts off the cobwebs.

    Irish beaten.

    Welsh beaten.

Scottish didn't bother but probably would have got beaten.

England v The Boks = very tall order.

My money is against England with sides on Bryan Habana and Chris Ashton to score a try anytime.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    Good point AAU. :)

    I'd skip that point. :rotfl:;):rotfl:

To be honest, I don't think it will come to that for the majority.

Hope you manage to get some.

Blimey, now you're asking something!! They were performance ones, 9-12 in grey. They'd put a new barcode over the old one

Sorry, I struggle sometimes to remember what I did 12 hours ago and I have done a lot since then :-)

Hi, sorry, just wondering if they were heavy boot socks or thermal walking socks One pack has 3 pairs, the other has 2 pairs, but both have a grey pair. Thanks anyway for reply.

If I find any I will hide them whilst I try one through the SS, then either purchase them or forget my purse :)

Here's a close up of my sausage  (just so you know what you're looking for):

    scaled.php?server=820&filename=cimg0885j.jpg&res=landing

Just some info. for you.....the sausages are found in the cooked meats aisle, but their exact location can vary. One store I visited had them next to the other MAMW products and another had them next to the value ham.

Also, just a warning, trouts don't like it when you buy this product and pay zilch for them. Even the young SA lads seem to have a problem with scanning these coupons; they're usually fearless when it comes to scanning coupons. :rotfl:

The problem is that the coupons don't scan properly; a message comes up that 'the correct amount has not been spent' or something along those lines.

It's important that you remain cool, calm and collected. And be polite. :A

I had a few problems trying to redeem the coupons but if you follow these points then you should be ok.

    1. Warn the SA beforehand that you have coupons for the item in question and that the coupon states 'one per transaction'; ask what they would like you to do. At this point, follow the SA's advice i.e. put them through separately or all in one go.

    2. If you do put the items through in one go without warning the SA and the SA, senior supervisor or trout refuses to accept the coupon as it says 'one per transaction'....ask them politely to cancel the whole transaction and put the items through separately. :D

    3. If the SA is struggling to scan the coupon, give them a gentle reminder that they they can manually enter an unbranded coupon. ;)

    5. Failing the above, please think whether all this hassle is worth getting a few sausages. You will, more than likely, have had your cards marked at this point in the store that you're in. Is it worth the risk for any future DTD golden opportunities? Or that amazing glitch?

I guess the above advice is aimed at novices when it comes to couponing....so sorry to the regulars who think that this is all common sense.

Off to watch the F1 practice now.

    :)
now i read all that, karlie. where's the coupon:)

    Home from work :j

Had a result on the way home via Ts.

7 Whoopsie pizzas as per the pic on the coupon, reduced down to £1.53 each :D Got those and 2 x Makes a Meal Sausages. Total to pay 21p :T:j:T:j:T

However as per my post yesterday re the Make a Meal coupon not scanning on the SS for the Sausages. I can also confirm it dosent scan on a manned till either. SA put it through as a non scan coupon so no problems but if you get the sausage just be prepared that the SA has to enter it manually, trouts wont be happy doing that..;)

A few wombles and 42 more points :D

In other news, lots of virgin SA's today in my store today, one got some extra training on coupon use :p
