Schumacher not given a penalty.
Maldonado given a 20 second penalty for incident with Hamilton. Don't really like Maldonado; he drives dangerously when things don't go his way and causes avoidable collisions.
They all drive dangerously at times. Shumacher being the master of running peopl eoff the track!
Re. the maldonado incident. I saw it differently. The rules state you should leave people room. He was fully alongside hamilton and hamilton crowded him off the track by holding the line. Hamilton could easily have given him room and chose not to. Two arrogant drivers....it could only end up with a collision really. My heart bleeds for hamilton :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

SA called the next in command about my Price Promise. Next in command went to CS. CS called the Duty Manager. all this time customers were unloading onto the till and seeing that nothing was happening. waiting waiting, tumbleweeds went past, 15 mins went past... and they said no.
Went home and rang HO. The guy on the phone wasn't sure what the price promise was  and then he put me on hold while he called the shop... to figure out why they didn't take it... 15 mins later...(and the store denied knowledge of it!) ... I say that I don't want to be on hold. I want a letter saying that they DO take them...
He is sending me a £4 gift card. !?!?! and couldn't (for some reason) put it in writing that they should accept them.

Walking to the sea to enjoy the sunshine and defuse.
Hope you all had a better ride than I did!
Sorry you had this experience. Unfortunately it is at the store's discretion. I would pick another store if you have one, if not, a letter or email to Phil Clarke CEO should do the trick.
Let us know how you get on. I think this is the first time I've heard of this particular policy flat refused. :eek:I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Mr 3Dogs& I slept right through the night, other than a lovely session getting himto the bathroom, take him meds and get back into bed. He fell heavily as he went into the bathroomand I don’t have the strength in my hands/arms to lift him. He managed to get up eventually but I thenhad to help him with his stoma bag as he was shouting for me to bring scissorsto cut the end. Got him back to sit onedge of bed and we had a ‘just take this one tablet’ and ‘one more drink’session to get all 8 tablets down him, taking about half an hour. Got him back into bed and stayed up for aboutan hour just to make sure he was settled, before I went to bed about 1.30am
As I said,we both slept well, and the alarm woke us up at 8am and I had a repeatperformance with his 13 tablets. He thenhad an hour where he was delirious, thinking there were other people in the bedand that he was lying on one of them, so he rolled off the bed to get off them, despite me trying to stop him. Hesomehow managed to get back onto the edge of the bed and sat there for a whilebefore I could persuade him to get into bed. I got back into bed to keep an eye on him, resting on his shoulder tolet him know I was there, and we fell asleep again. It was 3pm before I got up and dressed as heneeded more meds then, so gave him them and left him sleeping, while I madesomething to eat
I got himsitting up more and took him food into the bedroom as there is no way I couldget him up and into the sitting room. Ispoon-fed him some new potatoes, chopped roast beef and grated cheese melted ontop but he only managed 3 mouthfuls ...... it was something though. Got his settled to sleep after that and he isstill asleep now, bless him
Do you have support from social services? You need to speak to the NHS if it is becoming difficult for you, my FIL had nurses who came to the house to check on him and his medication and carers who came daily to check on him too, even though most of the time they just popped their heads around the door as my MIL was doing everything for him.
Take any help they offer, and if they don't offer any get hold of social services and get them to get help for you both.
They should be making your hard time easier, I can understand not wanting to be a burden on the NHS but that is what they are there for.
God bless you both.0 -
Popped into asda today for another couple of bottles of veggie oil. Whoopsie section didn't have much but they did have packs of 3 huge portobello mushrooms for 26p. Well I just had to have a pack of those!
Preparation involved peeling and destalking. Then poured a generous helping of olive oil into the palm of my hand and rubbed it over the outside of each one. Then grated some cheese (oh come on, I've not had any for a month!!) and some bread and filled the mushrooms with it. A dusting of chilli powder to give them a little ooomph and a drizzle of olive oil and in the oven they went for 25 mins.0 -
They look nice FK
