Sorry to hear you're having to face extra hurdles this week
This site may help you with the eulogy:

Thank you, it did. I pieced something together and have sent it to uncle in law to read over and change. Very difficult.:(0 -

Picked up 2 today, will come in handy one for o/h one for F-i-L
You was in SH today? What time? I was in there at 15.47 approximately.
Got 2 bottles of wine which had been very kindly hidden for me. The tool boxes had all gone though.0 -
I can't help but laugh at the commentator (Ben Edwards) when he says 'OOOOOH, THEY HIT'.

I was there around 2pm, the woman behind me dashed off when she saw the price of the tool boxes, there was about 5 left not sure how many she had.0 -
My MIL had sitters about 3 times a week, usually for her to be able to get some sleep - they would come and sit with my FIL downstairs while she managed to get some sleep upstairs. Occasionally she would have a sitter for an hour or so in the day so that she could pop to the shops with her daughter. They weren't the most reliable sitters as quite often if they were short staffed the sitter wouldn't turn up as people who live on their own get priority but my MIL was just grateful for any support they could offer.
Both of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks hun - your poor MiL must have been exhaustedmadmuppet5 wrote: »

Evening all
Had the nicest whoopsie shop today.
Lots of healthy fruit and veg all 90% off and I didn't even look at the bakery stuff as I need to lose weight.
There was a family there though who had split up to cover all reduction points so I didn't manage to get any meat or chilled as they had nabbed the lot!
Did find the £2.50 chardonnay though. Can't remember who posted about it but massive thanks :A
Haribo football mix still £1 and no price flops or real food mags. As I suspected though, there was no MAM to be seen so I wasn't bothered
Had the lovliest male SA.
My shop came down from £73 to £29 and that included 5 bottles of wine and 7 packets of fairy platinum.( I noticed the offer for this expires today so thought I'd better use up what vouchers I had left)
He said I should be the next chancellor of the exchequer...bless him!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Mr 3Dogs & I slept right through the night, other than a lovely session getting him to the bathroom, take him meds and get back into bed. He fell heavily as he went into the bathroom and I don’t have the strength in my hands/arms to lift him. He managed to get up eventually but I then had to help him with his stoma bag as he was shouting for me to bring scissors to cut the end. Got him back to sit on edge of bed and we had a ‘just take this one tablet’ and ‘one more drink’ session to get all 8 tablets down him, taking about half an hour. Got him back into bed and stayed up for about an hour just to make sure he was settled, before I went to bed about 1.30am
As I said, we both slept well, and the alarm woke us up at 8am and I had a repeat performance with his 13 tablets. He then had an hour where he was delirious, thinking there were other people in the bed and that he was lying on one of them, so he rolled off the bed to get off them, despite me trying to stop him. He somehow managed to get back onto the edge of the bed and sat there for a while before I could persuade him to get into bed. I got back into bed to keep an eye on him, resting on his shoulder to let him know I was there, and we fell asleep again. It was 3pm before I got up and dressed as he needed more meds then, so gave him them and left him sleeping, while I made something to eat
I got him sitting up more and took him food into the bedroom as there is no way I couldget him up and into the sitting room. I spoon-fed him some new potatoes, chopped roast beef and grated cheese melted on top but he only managed 3 mouthfuls ...... it was something though. Got his settled to sleep after that and he is still asleep now, bless himMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Good race indeed makes a change for Valencia, good result too but still waiting on the stewards, so the podium could change yet..
Schumacher not given a penalty.
Maldonado given a 20 second penalty for incident with Hamilton. Don't really like Maldonado; he drives dangerously when things don't go his way and causes avoidable collisions.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
