I'm back
So very nearly trouted, did something so so so silly, was my own fault:o:o:o:o First shop I did was a whoopsie shop and something I had a free coupon for that I didn't realise expired yesterday :eek:....I know, I know, naughty step for me
But of course as soon as I handed that one over for the first shop, she scrutinised every coupon on my coupon shop down to the letter :( Was convinced I wouldn't get my MAMs through but luckily I did....phew!!!
They didn't have what I wanted so had to jiggle things around a bit and buy something that won't fitBut I managed to use my 2nd (and last JTD from pizzas £14.**) with no probs. £40 shop down to £3 and £3 ish JTD.
Got there 5 mins too late for whoopsies and a lady snatched a bbq food pack out my hand!:mad::mad::mad: I did manage 2 bbq packs for 4p after multibuy discount and some fruit/veg and cakes
M's was rubbish for whoopsies, they've obviously been inundated in droves recently :mad::mad: and as a result they're not reducing by as much and taking it out the back to reduce very close to closing time:(:( So I left it and went to A's and got some fabby bargains, 2 trays of pineapple chunks, a tray of mango chunks, a cabbage, cherry tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, filled baguette and pack of bacon for 90p - 43p APG = 57p
All in all not bad. Gutted my local didn't have better MAMs but driving miles for them, defeated the object for me so I stuck with the crispy bacon:cool:
Hope everyone had a fabby price flopper filled day :T'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
I think I'm turning into the black widow relative!
Sister in laws partner's brother had a minor heart attack early hours today!
What a week!
So we spent time with MIL today keeping her busy while SIL was at hospital.
My FILs brother in law is going to read the eulogy but I have been asked to prepare it, as he will read it but doesn't want to write it. I am finding it very difficult, I can't even remember what I said at mum's I just got up and spoke about her, difficult to write for someone else to say.
I don't suppose anyone knows any websites that help with that sort of thing.
Sorry to hear you're having to face extra hurdles this week
This site may help you with the eulogy:

Going to chance my luck on a whoopsie run this evening *fingers crossed* Never done a Sunday before! Hopefully there will be some goodies awaiting me
Had a lovely wee afternoon, OH, DD and I went for a wander round the canal, then I remembered about Geocaching, so downloaded the app onto my phone and off we wentFound one at the end of the canal quite easily :j Then we went off the beaten track to find another! Second one took a bit longer, but after some rummaging we got it :T Definitely going to look for some more in the future, just need to make sure my phone is properly charged next time as it died after finding the 2nd one so we couldn't see if there were anymore on the way home!

Had a really grim whoopsy time- all lovely, found a couple of BBQ reduced (3) and went to pay...
SA called the next in command about my Price Promise. Next in command went to CS. CS called the Duty Manager. all this time customers were unloading onto the till and seeing that nothing was happening. waiting waiting, tumbleweeds went past, 15 mins went past... and they said no.
Went home and rang HO. The guy on the phone wasn't sure what the price promise was  and then he put me on hold while he called the shop... to figure out why they didn't take it... 15 mins later...(and the store denied knowledge of it!) ... I say that I don't want to be on hold. I want a letter saying that they DO take them...
He is sending me a £4 gift card. !?!?! and couldn't (for some reason) put it in writing that they should accept them.
AHHHHHH!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek:

Sorry Boss:eek:
I can just about manage sitting in a darkened room reading and clicking thanks but I think the bright lights and noise of Mr Ts would send me over the edge at the moment, can't even go in to pick up the rest of my tiles
But I have to agree with Hubby, it is a bitwhen you rip open the full rubbish bags they have very neatly tied up at the SS tills.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can
