    "New overflow thread for 11+ers"

Sorry if this is a daft question...but what is 11+ers? Bet I have a 'doh' moment very soon lol! :)

We used to post on the T Misprices thread on Grabbit and I think that one had got to no 11. But sometime during that that thread there were a lot of complaints about the amount of chat and peeps were trying to get all the banter removed and limit it to posting bargains only, no discussion, so a new thread was started as 11+ and moved off Grabbit so that chat could be allowed (and even encouraged :)). We have been 11+ ever since and I actually have no idea how many 11+ threads there have been.

So I guess 11+ers are anyone that wants to hunt down a bargain but also have a chat and a laugh and share a hug and a story along the way.

we had bunting and flags in all the local villages and towns before the flame came and kept for the jubillee but they are green, white and red and welsh flags with the odd union jack,

Could I ask our Northern Ireland Elite a few questions please?

We're going on a coach trip (no Brendan unfortunately :( ) to NI. Going to see The Giants Causeway & The Titanic Exhibition & docks.
Rather than go up the coast on another day 4p & I are planning to catch the train from Carrick Fergus into Belfast for a day of sightseeing
We would like to know what is a must see?
which bus tours are the best value?
what train station in Belfast do we get off at?
    Thank you ♥

Don't know if anyone's answered you yet but I'll have a go

what train station in Belfast do we get off at?
The best one is Great Victoria Street, it is the most central one and a short walk to the city centre. Also there is a very small T's (express I think) for any last minuite glitches :D just oposite the front doors.
We would like to know what is a must see?
The Crown Bar http://www.crownbar.com/ is opposite the station also, notice the crown mosaic at the entrance. The original owner's wife only alowed him to name it The Crown if she could have this put in so everyone entering had to walk all over it  It's a traditional snug bar and very welcoming, well it was the last time I was in.
The Dome in Victoria Square http://www.victoriasquare.com/ , gives a great view over Belfast on a good day and also a good number of shops
Obviously the City Hall http://www.belfastcity.gov.uk/cityhall/index.asp is fantastic, loads of marble, detailed paintwork and the staircase is lovely. They do tours where you get to see places that most locals have never been to. I was at a few council functions were they took us to those same parts and to think that before then I'd never seen it is a shame.
    Botanic gardens
http://www.belfastcity.gov.uk/parksandopenspaces/parks/botanicgardens.asp and the Ulster Museum http://www.nmni.com/Home are good places for a relaxing day. The museum is inside Botanic Gardens which is next to Queens University.

which bus tours are the best value?
As for bus tours I'm not too sure of these my son was on one for school that went round the Stormont Estate but don't know what price it was.
The best place for you to go to would be Belfast Welcome Centre
    http://www.gotobelfast.com/things-to-do/member/belfast-welcome-centre
There are agents outside here from the tour companies selling but there are more 'Things to do' leaflets inside along with their standard prices so you'll know if they're charging correctly.
This is in Royal Avenue and if you walk further up that street you will come to a Primark, just past this is a T's Metro go in and look up, the ceilling is so detailed. It used to be a bank and when T's took it over we all thought that they'd get rid of it all but in a brief sensible moment they decided it would stay. Just past here is Castle Court if you fancy some more shopping :)
There is one called The Duck Tour or Splash Tours http://www.belfastsplashtours.com/tours.htm It's a bus/boat tour around Belfast and onto the Lagan for another part of it. We took our after school kids and summer scheme on it last year and they enjoyed the river part as that was the only bit we'd asked to do with them.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know, my mind's now gone blank as it's been so long since I've done tours in the taxi and as a local you forget just how much wonderful stuff our city has.

Nothing odd in that. The Union Jack is the flag of the United Kingdom, and as far as I'm aware Wales is still part of the UK, and so shares a monarch and an Olympics team with the rest of the UK.

Heading off to the shops soon armed with my Love 2 Shop vouchers :D It's nice to have a decent selection on shops to spend them on and I'm going to be selfish today and buy myself something with them!

Be back later to catch up :D

I know how you feel my DD was 2 in Feb and she calls me mom it really bugs me and I didn't know why, I think it makes me feel like she is growing up too much :( Doesn't help her brother is 8 this year and says mum.
It's normally only mummy when she is poorly-like today! Which means no Tesco for me until this evening when OH gets home from work. I will get this B&J deal I will I will I will *stamps feet*

    Oh morning everyone!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
