Just found price flops! :j:j:j
After a great effort I got my shop up to £40 (£53 before offers), and then with stacking till spits, JTD (B&J), and vouchers, got it back down to £11. ...and free MaM bacon (2 Living vouchers and 1 flop)!! yay!
Hooray! :T:T0 -
I'd like to draw your attention to this post, by Tesc*.
It's a shopping list for the new peepee thing. I can see that she wanted to get jtd on shampoo and conditioner and so bought several small value items to make up the new minimum 8 items.
Please note this is not my list. Please click through and thank Tesc*.
1 x GRANNY SMITH APPLES LSE CLASS 1 (0.17 kg) £ 0.27 £ 0.30
1 x LOOSE BROWN ONIONS CLASS 2 (0.16 kg) £ 0.12 £ 0.12
1 x LOOSE CARROTS CLASS 1 (0.11 kg) £ 0.09 £ 0.09
1 x TESCO EDAY VALUESPONGE PAN CLEANERS 5PK £ 0.14 £ 0.14
1 x TREBOR SOFTMINTS SINGLE TUBE £ 0.49 £ 0.46
1 x J/F FULL REPAIRFULL BODY SHAMPOO 250ML £ 7.00 £ 3.34
2 x JF FULL REPAIR DEEP CONDITIONER250ML £ 14.00 £ 6.66
1 x DIET COKE 330 ML £ 0.59 N/A
1 x TESCO VALUE FOOD BAGS 50'S £ 0.42 N/A
So Granny Smiths are dearer in Asda, and maybe not worth buying for the sake of making up the numbers, but sponge scourers look like a good cheap buy.
Has anyone thought about 10p sweets, like flumps for instance. (I picked up lots during dtd to make up the value and they are great to keep for hot chocolate, and you're not left with an open bag of marshmallows that require eating).
It's good to see we have found a way round the new rules and are still beating T at their own game :T.
It's only a game

Finally bought some MAM bacon pieces today and smoked ham batons. I am pleasantly surprised as they do look very nice, for some reason I was expecting the MAM meats to be very processed.
:)
Also bought several packs of Cadbury mini rolls with the price flop vouchers, works out £1 for 2 packs.:)

Hi
I occassionally added a few snippets in the good ol DTD days but then stopped logging on for a while job reasons, time etc, lost my password but now joined again. So good to be back.
Lots of familiar names, this is not really the right thread name to be asking this question but 'you' do seem like my friends in a very strange way as I have read your posts and just been part of your funny stories and sad stories.
I need some advice, I have some really lovely item ( not through DTD) but very lovely make up and face creams and perfumes that I have tried to sell twice at a local boot fair but I really cannot give away these lovely items that cost anything between 8-20 pounds for 50p and so I wondered do you think its better to ebay or amazon or do you think asking 40% of the original asking price is too much and I should face facts and give this stuff away for pennies ?0 -
i have bosch got my dishwasher back in the happy days of mfi and tesco vouchers, washing machine from comet had both a good few years very pleased with them
I am getting Bosch Fridgefreezer and dishwasher, the Bosch washing machine I wanted is out of stock. I would quite like a washer dryer but the Bosch ones seem to have a small capactity 5k wash and 2.5kg drying.0 -

It's free listing for auctions at the moment on ebay so you could give it a try on there.0 -

We have a samsung washing machine and I would happily sing its praises- I have very long hair and have tended to break machines easily (yes, with my hair!)0 -

Thanks so much, money is tight for me ( I am sure for many!) but I also do love a bargain, so while I dont mind giving say 40% off the price maybe 50% I dont want to give it for nothing too. will try the ebay way...0
