Hi all, hope your well.
Need to get a new vacuum cleaner today, currently have a (broken) dyson. I was toying with the idea of getting a vax, theres one that claims to be the most powerful multi cyclonic upright in the world, its a Vax U89-MAF2-R Air Force 2 Reach Multi Cyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, it also comes with a 6year (1 more than dyson) guarantee.
Does anyone have any advice on vacuum cleaners?

I have this one and have had it for a while now (which is good for me as due to my 2-3 hooverings a day habit they tend to die quickly) I have had dysons/henrys most brands you can think of as on average I buy 2-3 hoovers a year, this one I have now is very good works on all 5 floor surfaces (wood/stone/lino/carpet/tiles)0 -
We need fridge, washing machine and dishwasher for new house. I know which fridge and dishwasher I want, but the washing machine I had my eye on has gone out of stock so I am back to dithering, would love a bosch or siemens - maybe a washer dryer. Any recommendations?
i have bosch got my dishwasher back in the happy days of mfi and tesco vouchers, washing machine from comet had both a good few years very pleased with them0 -

It is by far the best vacuum cleaner we've had , much better than the vax and dysons we've had.
Not this one but similar

was a mighty fine effort from Wales, last minute penalty did for them as it did for Ireland.
( would note that the Aussie management made a mistake allowing an injured Berrick Barnes to take previous penalty that he missed )Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

When I burn the motor out they usually say they will get it collected and a new motor put in, that means I am without a hoover for around 2 weeks, no way could I go that long, so I go out and buy a new one then sell the old one when its back with its new motor, I usually get a good price as it looks like new I wash and dry the hoover drum and wipe over the hoover before putting it back each time its used.0 -
Well I went to my friends party last night, she was so good when my mother passed away I felt that I needed to return the support. Not a good mrning at home though got up and around where the dog sleeps was lots of blood, vets near to us opens at half past 8 so am ready tophone them.
Oh no, that doesn't sound good FloFlo - let us know how it goes at the vets hunits_a_secret_66 wrote: »Dear Mr and Mrs 3 Dogs So Sorry to hear Alan is in so much pain, the health care workers all say pain management is vital, as no one should be in pain. My Dad had to go on morphine with liquid morphine top ups when needed. Everyone was so kind with Dad helping him manage his pain. Mr 3 Dogs reminds me so much of my Dad trying to stay positive and cheerful inspite of everything he was facing. I hope you Mrs 3 Dogs have a good support network for you. You are both so inspirational i hope today brings you a little more sunshine.
Thought the cordless doorbell idea was a great idea, as should give out loud sound without too much pressure from Alan especially if he feels weak.
Big Hugs to you both:A
Calmspirit - sounds terrible hun,, hope they can sort it out without surgery adn get rid of that pain :A
Blondynurse - thanks hun
Enterprise - walkie talkies sound good idea
Greenfinger - as does baby monitor - pity I didn't look for anything like that when they were going very cheap at out fave shop :rotfl:
cattysmum - how does the bubble affect you hun? pressure on the eye, distorted vision? Good to hear it is normal but hope it sorts its self out soon. Loved the clairvoyant story - a friend and I once went to see a clairvoyant, who said I was going to get promotion and was their a chance of overseas as she could see water. The next week, I heard that I had passed my promotion board to Exec Officer in C/Service and when I got my posting, it was across the other side of the River Tyne, so I had to go through the Tyne Tunnel every day :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Not as exotic as she made it sound
Sanya - just picturing you in your decorated bra
