I've been reading posts about people receiving price check back and I've received lots as well. There is a big difference with the new ones to the old, which I don't know if anyone has pointed it out and it's the big price promise in the corner, so if any stores are on the ball they will know it is one of the new/re printed ones if it also has an old date on it.

bing.pngI think one of the reasons they are sending them out again is any links from before they changed it don't work so people aren't able to print their vouchers if they hadn't and guess it is easier to send all of Junes rather than just the last few days.

Mad how was the GFS? Any decent coupons?

Reading the new vouchers it says it may only be used once, as it is a new voucher with a new date on it, I shall only use it once I do keep all my receipts but can't say for certain which ones I have used in my defence. :rotfl:

Morning all, I'm still feeling rubbish and can't sleep, eat or drink. Spent 3hrs without meds in the Walk in Centre last night, they say its tonsilitis or possibly Glandular Fever. Can anyone suggest how I can keep the pain away, I'm already taking max doeses of both paracetamol and ibuprofen, but still ache all over, go hot and cold and can't bear to swallow.

(Excuse the ill typing, my head isn't where it should be)

I had glandular fever years ago and can really relate to just how ill you feel. The doctor thought I had got tonsilitis at first and put me on penicillin and took a blood test. When the results came through it was confirmed and I had to stop the antibiotics. I felt really awful for weeks, all I wanted to do was sleep, and when I felt a bit better I was tired out if I did anything. The nurse had to come every week and take some blood (can't remember why now though) and I was off work for nearly four months.

If you still feel so bad, you need a blood test to find out one way or the other.

Oh no, that sounds awful. I really hope it's not that serious as I'm a contractor and don't get sick pay.
I have penicillin, and was told if it doesn't make any change in a few days then to go get the test, which I definitely will.
I'm sleeping in approx 40 minute blocks atm, 40 minutes up, 40 mins sleep. But keep waking cause when I swallow while asleep I feel like I'm choking and wake up again.
What was the treatment for glandular fever if not the anti-biotics then?

Hi, I hope you haven't got it. When I had it there was no treatment - have a 'google' - at least it will explain a bit more about it. You need to take it easy and look after yourself, because if you have it and try to carry on as normal, you will feel worse. Hopefully it is only tonsilitis. xx

You should have a go at the antiseptic spray you can get from the chemists, really great for numbing the throat and ease the pain. I tried it a month ago when I had tonsillitis and it did really work. Hope it helps.

    Good morning everyone

I think someone is trying to blow the sun away here, but at the moment it is a lovely bright day.

I love doing the quiz at this time of day - it means I am top for a while (and bottom!!!). AND I actually got 10/10 today in geography!!

Hugs to everyone who needs them - have not read back yet but will have a go.
