I went in to wake Mr 3Dogs to watch the footie at 8 ........ to find him in agony   He had been trying to knock on the headboard/wall for about an hour to try to get me to come to him. He'd heard me come back from Tossco, then go out with the dogs and then back again, plus on the phone when friend rang me to find out how he was ................ and I never heard him knocking, as he couldn't knock hard :o:o He had pains all over his body ... his arms felt like they were going to explode. He couldn't even get out of bed and go to the toilet which he needed to do

He was due his tablets so I pursuaded him to get up to see if that was better. He could take his tablets, have something to eat and try to watch the footie. He couldn't eat anything but did have his tablets and after about half hour the pain was still bad and he wwas going to go back to bed. I got a fleece rug and put it around his middle as that was where the pain was now, to see if the warmth would help, and he actually stayed up till the match was finished. He did go to bed then though, but was feeling much better. I checked in on him later and he'd had a sleep and feeling better. Just about to take his last tablets in to him now

    Hugs hun x x

Sorry to hear mr 3dags was in so much pain and you didnt hear him :(. When Mr Tonik was allowed home from the hospital he couldn't talk and barely move, we got a wireless doorbell and fitted it to the end of the bed, so he could touch it with his toes, i had the other bit of door bell with me in rooms or garden incase he needed anything x x

I've been reading posts about people receiving price check back and I've received lots as well. There is a big difference with the new ones to the old, which I don't know if anyone has pointed it out and it's the big price promise in the corner, so if any stores are on the ball they will know it is one of the new/re printed ones if it also has an old date on it.

bing.pngI think one of the reasons they are sending them out again is any links from before they changed it don't work so people aren't able to print their vouchers if they hadn't and guess it is easier to send all of Junes rather than just the last few days.

Mad how was the GFS? Any decent coupons?

I agree they are most likely just emailing out new links for any and all vouchers that are still in date whether or not they have been printed/redeemed yet. I personally dont think they are trying to catch anyone out.

What I don't understand is why they didn't put a link on these new results pages to say "IMPORTANT CHANGES - click here to read our NEW T&Cs" or mention it in the subject line. Afterall they changed the subject on these duplicate emails from "Tesco Price Check" to "Tesco Price Promise" so why not make the change to "Tesco Price Promise (important changes)"

It seems to me like they have yet to effectively communicate this change. We all know obviously but what about Joe Bloggs who doesn't visit this thread and other similar ones

3dogs, I hope mr 3dogs is not in so much pain now he has had his meds and watched England win. Have you thought about getting carelink installed? I think most councils operate it.

What a great idea ToNIk - our bungalow is really small, just the kitchen & living room at front and bedroom & bathroom at the back, so I should have heard him, but he said he didn't have the strength to knock properly - thanks hun :T :T

i would get the doctor next time hun, he really needs reveiwed, if his pain isbuilding up like this its harder for the painkillers to get a good grip the trick is the painkillers need to be taken regularly which i'm sure he is having, and to have something else prescribed for breakthrough pain, eg morphine liquid. if the breakthru meds need to be taken regularly then the actual regular painkillers need to be upped. take care both of u and you get plenty rest yourself too hun xxxxxxxxx
hope u both get a good nights sleep xxxxx
