Our main one doesnt have scanners, but it helps if you have a makeup cpounter or pharmacy, as they are usually happy to scan, and dont seem to be bothered if items come up at 1por 4p as its 'not their department'.

They usually say 'oh thats a bargain, have they got any more on the shelf?' :T

My fav is the mobile phone bit, in one of mine they'll scan anything as long as you tell them where they are so they can get them too;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Much as I love Manchester, there's still nothing that can beat being back home; especially in Wales.

I remember briefly talking with Snap about Wales; think we may be around the same area-ish. I'm around the Dolgellau/Barmouth/Tywyn area. :D

What I love is the countryside around where I live. I can walk along a river or lake, walk along the estuary, go to the beach and climb a mountain; all of these activities can be done within a stone's throw from my house.

    :)

i know the feeling there is so much to see and do my kids dont miss not going on holidays as they know how lucky we are to live here.. on sunday they went swimming, kayaking, fishing, horse riding, hill walking and did archery practice, to make the most of the last day at home, all wthin walking distance :T

jealous here Wool , where abouts you staying ?
We've always had lovely holidays in that part of the world .
Salou is great for shops (mainly tat etc but it's fun loking)

I knew youwould notice this! We are at caribe. Not top coice of PAV hotels, my fave is el paso, the pool is brill for the kids but it twas a bargain, and free child place.

Its half board to so we fill our bags at breakfast with snacks for the day. No way am i paying 16€ for burger and chips n the park. We get all of our drinks from hypermarket and smuggle them in too!

I would like to go to gold river but sooo expensive. You really should stay in one of their hotles if you get the chance, the perks are great

The last two times, we havent even ventured out of the park to salou, too much to do. Do intend on going to barcelona this time.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Morning everyone (well 11am is just still morning!) No Tesco for me today. Trip to the dentist with eldest son for brace fitting, followed by a day of making things for the summer fair...100 rings made already (just need to make 100 boxes to put them in now!), plus 50 kits of friendship bracelets, instructions written and photocopied. Millions of teddies washed and now sitting on radiators all over the house (well I couldnt peg them up by the ears on the washing line could I?) Wrapping 400 lucky dip prizes if I have time too!

Afternoon will be mainly making bags out of old jeans, ironing mums washing, visiting her in hospital, collecting kids, back to hospital and then some tea and a big tidy up!

Cor blimey I dont know how I managed when I had a job as well!:rotfl:

So you're allowed to have your opinion about whoever it was that said they tried to sell duty free fags,!but nobody's allowed to have an opinion on your wombling?

I didnt state an opinion on a specific poster. I made a general statement of fact about bootlegging being illegal

The fact i womble doesnt make that statement any less true

You can think what you like about my wombling activities and i can think what i like about bootlegging. !Just because i womble doesnt mean i cant have an opinion on something else

I did suggest we agree to disagree but it seems some people want to deprive me of my right to voice an opinion just because they disagree with it and think i'm being self righteous at the same time. You are of course allowed to disagree with me just as i can with you. You can think wombling is illegal, you can think bootlegging is harmless -i dont care. !I do care when i'm called a hypocrite though because i dont think that i am (oh sorry, thats my opinion. I forgot i'm not allowed any)

Its the hypocrisy accusation i'm trying to address

Because in your opinion bootlegging is worse, and your opinion obviously trumps everyone elses and is not to be criticised? Riiiiiiiiiiiight then!!

You're half right. !I do think bootlegging is worse but i!dont think my opinion trumps anyone elses

Nobody's abusing you, stop overreacting. Everyone!is welcome in this thread, even drama queens. But please pick your toys up and put them back in your pram before they start tripping folk up, ta.!

Realy? !So just to sum up, now i'm a hypocritical fraudulent drama queen acting like a baby am i? All because i have an opinion and stick to it? It sure feels like abuse to me

I could see the point if i was wombling and then said wombling was wrong. That would be hypocritical but thats not what i'm doing

Enjoy yourselves. My DD and DGDs were there last week and had a fantastic time.

Ahh, thanks. Intend to, plus it will be our 9 yr together anniversary. Not bad seeing as everyone gave us a month at the beginning. I stole him from his child hood sweatheart. Not as bad as it sounds. He was my manager at work and i knew he wasnt happy so on the day he left, i just told him, i love you, move in with me, and he did, the next day!!! There wasnt any hanky panky until he had left his ex!

What a waste of time and taxpayers' money. If only they spent as much effort going after the rich...

Using taxpayers money to ensure taxes are paid is a waste of time? Thats an interesting opinion!!

If i didnt give up my right to voice an opinion when i started wombling then i would have disagreed with you on this.
