My best friend and her husband are both tax inspectors and they told me that the Inland revenue employ people to check newspapers for the small ads, Ebay....and even send them to car boot sales. (where I wonder if they take down number plates of anyone selling lots of the same stuff?)
They also check newsagents windows etc for people advertising gardening services, cleaning etc.
I would be very wary of trying to get a little tax free sideline going...chances are you are going to get caught eventuallyMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Morning All ,
seems a bit of a kerfuffle about mythical furry animals and selling a few tabs but the deafening silence of the elephant in the room that is DTD has hardly received a response .
Which costs T more, DTD or wombling?
You can get a genuine misprice leading to a genuine DTD, can you get a genuine mythical furry animal?
The only wombling I do is from my OH's petrol receipts because I know he won't have used his (+my) CC. The only DTD I have ever got is on offers that genuinely haven't come through, I think the max has been under a fiver.

Morning all
Ok been to mr T to test out the new price flops.....
Could not use the pot dessert moc on the 6for £2 custards and Kelly's as apparently neither custard or jelly is a dessert pot and the moc would not scan
Did however use 2 x real mag make a meal and 1 price flop to get 2 packs of meat totally free
In all I got £19 of shopping for £2ish as a just paid for the custards and should get back £1.80 JTD
HTH good luck all0 -
Me Hearties
Where do we be getting the "Real Food" scribblings?
We have visited 6 stores near to YellowBird Wharf and not a sign of the scribblings anywhere.
Anchors away..............0 -
I heard on the car radio an advert for waitrose.
Something like £5 off your first online order, £10 off your second......£25 off your fifth. So £75 off altogether.
Anyone know the details?
You have to spend £75 on each shop:eek::eek::eek::eek: my little ears pricked up the minute I heard it;)Laura_Cello wrote: »Morning! :j

I am feeling nervous though, because it has sunk in that I am riding the London to Brighton bike ride for the British Heart Foundation this Sunday :eek::eek: I usually ride 10 miles a day (to work and back) but never have I done anything like that...

jealous here Wool , where abouts you staying ?
We've always had lovely holidays in that part of the world .
Salou is great for shops (mainly tat etc but it's fun loking)
Agree on the shops. There's a small Dutch restaurant in one of the back strrets, near to the municipal gardens. They do a cracking Nasi croqeutte - one of the best outside of Holland.0
