life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
  • Thanks for all the well wishes, we had a lovely anniversary :j

Day started well, went to get the dh's fav box of choccies that I had put away only to find one or all of the kids had eaten 3/4 of them  I wouldnt say so much but bearing in mind I have a stash of creme eggs, mothers day chocs, mint lambs etc that they could have had .
DH gave me a lovely bunch of flowers and was very attentive all day :)
Dh then suggested before we go for a meal why dont we go for a game of bingo first  Bingo! on our anniversary! but went along with it as it was an evening out...we are now [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] a few bob better off :j:j:j (thats the dd2 holiday with the school paid for:D)

Then went to Cosmo for a meal to round the evening off, I prebooked this and was told 9.30pm was fine as we get 2hrs to enjoy our meal. Arrived and paid, settled down to chill and enjoy, as we are just sitting with a small starter a waiter tells us they are closing in 15min and can we please finish our food and leave  but even that was not gonna spoil our evening, all in all a lovely memorable day was had :D
:A You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person

Thanks, this looks good! OH usually takes the boys to the local ones - Military Odyssey, Combined Ops, war and peace and Eastbourne but hasn't been to this one before so will let him know!

It is a really excellent display and stuff goes on in the evenings. Weather permitting, bring a picnic (a nice big t's at C45tle Lane - next the hospital ;)) and enjoy yourselves.

:) the challenge is set ;) will have to find props & cloth :D

This is a great idea, the best prop, backdrop or location a whoopsie item can be displayed, like the top of everest.....

Just been complaining, one to carling and one in writing to b&j for the rancid tasting ice cream.

Said final farewell to bogof discovery last night, 6 more with my £9 jtd, one my shops still have the mags out so I still collecting them.

    x have nice day x

Does anyone else click on this website everyday?

    http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3

I know it's American Animal Rescue but it all helps. You just click & it contributes towards food :D
they send me a daily reminder email with a link :)

anyone know of any UK sites that do similar things ?

I guess the important thing is that animals are helped no matter where they are .
Friends of mine in New Jersey are very active with the SPCA and often critcal of the US public as not supporting the animals enough but and as T's say ' every little helps '
