Much as I love Manchester, there's still nothing that can beat being back home; especially in Wales.

I remember briefly talking with Snap about Wales; think we may be around the same area-ish. I'm around the Dolgellau/Barmouth/Tywyn area. :D

What I love is the countryside around where I live. I can walk along a river or lake, walk along the estuary, go to the beach and climb a mountain; all of these activities can be done within a stone's throw from my house.

    :)

:) we're close to all those lovely places Karlie (by train - no driver here) , it only takes no time to get there and what wonderful times we have .
we had a super boxing day a year or so back on one of the many beachs , it was blowing a gale which was super as we had stunt kites etc and we warmed ourselves up with a hot choccie in one of the loca lpubs .

i know the feeling there is so much to see and do my kids dont miss not going on holidays as they know how lucky we are to live here.. on sunday they went swimming, kayaking, fishing, horse riding, hill walking and did archery practice, to make the most of the last day at home, all wthin walking distance :T
:) that reminds me of the TV advert with the young lad (Butlins ?) but it's all within touching distance of your doorway , i wish i had your kids energy ...it sounds like a brill day .

I knew youwould notice this! We are at caribe. Not top coice of PAV hotels, my fave is el paso, the pool is brill for the kids but it twas a bargain, and free child place.

Its half board to so we fill our bags at breakfast with snacks for the day. No way am i paying 16€ for burger and chips n the park. We get all of our drinks from hypermarket and smuggle them in too!

I would like to go to gold river but sooo expensive. You really should stay in one of their hotles if you get the chance, the perks are great

The last two times, we havent even ventured out of the park to salou, too much to do. Do intend on going to barcelona this time.

:)of course we'd notice :) ,we've walked past the caribe on many occasions and it looks like a wonderful hotel ...I'm sure we went in to take a looksie once .
I'm sure Snap will book one of the parks hotels in the future as we've talked about it often as when we're in the park we notice how close & easy it is to get in &out etc .
I'd rate the park as high if not higher than French Disney , I was amazed at how clean the park was kept (loos) and how friendly the people were ....
and yes we fill up at breakfast as €16 is way way over the top .
Have super time ,we love the water rides in the park ...

My best friend and her husband are both tax inspectors and they told me that the Inland revenue employ people to check newspapers for the small ads, Ebay....and even send them to car boot sales. (where I wonder if they take down number plates of anyone selling lots of the same stuff?)
They also check newsagents windows etc for people advertising gardening services, cleaning etc.

I would be very wary of trying to get a little tax free sideline going...chances are you are going to get caught eventually

I can vouch for this ... I have a Limited company and I employ one person (me :D). My normal business is software related but I've not worked properly for about 18 months now.

Anyhow after watching a episode of the Apprentice I bought a load of childrens party stuff and costume jewellery and made a load of tutus etc ... and sold them on eBay. My days were full wrapping weighing and standing in post office queues. I was selling lots but making pennies after fees (eBay, PayPal and postage) ... so after about 6 weeks I stopped (exhausted).

Anyway, this week I get a call from my Accountant (cos I do my own VAT ... he just does the year end accounts) ... the Inland Revenue have spotted my eBay account (which I haven't used in over a year) and want to know if all activity has been recorded and accounted for (which it has).

It's just not worth trying to evade paying tax (which is illegal) ... it's better to exploit glitches cos you don't have to declare it, it's all tax free, it's not (too) stressful and it's fun!!:rotfl:

    Hi everyone!

Just been reading about the possible Radley sale on the main page, sounds very exciting!

Not had any good T's bargains to report, its all been very quiet

Other than a few whoopsies, its been very boring!

We need a new glitch! :D
