Hi 3Dogs, so pleased that you have a supportive GP, for you and for Mr 3Dogs. I'm sure the confidence that there are medical staff available as and when you need them helps.
Incidentally 3dogs (that I realise is a different user) has a full message folder - I bet some of them were meant for you:)
PPS the medical advice the doc gave on the tablets (PARTICULARLY REGARDING PARACETAMOL) was from the doc for Mr 3Dogs ONLY. Just in case anyone reads it and thinks its OK to pop that number continuously.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Finish on a shopping joke before bed
A girl approaches the checkout of a supermarket, in her basket she has the following:
1 bar of soap
1 toothbrush
1 tube of toothpaste
1 loaf of bread
1 pint of milk
1 single serving of cereal
1 single frozen dinner
The checkout guy looks at her, smiles, and says, "Single, huh?"
The girl smiles sheepishly and replies, "How'd you guess?"
"Because you're ugly."
A little unfair I feel, they could have been on price flops:rotfl::rotfl:If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Off-topic but still money saving point.
I have a nectar card and every week I have been getting without doubt a coupon from sainsburys for extra nectar points if I spend over £30. Now I never spend that amount ever. Mainly because tesco is so nice to me;):D So I give it to others in the queue or friends or family.
But very handy if you have two nectar cards. One for the main shopping. And another for the odd lunch meal. Good to boost your nectar points.
I know it's probably not new news, but I saw a couple do it over the weekend rather smartly. And I commented to say well done to them. Husband bought a few things, swiped his nectar card and then used all the voucher on the wife's main shop :T:T He said he had been doing it for months :D0 -

A duck goes into a furniture store and says 'got any duck food?'
The guy at the counter says, 'sorry, we don't sell duck food'.
The little duck walks out.
The next day, same duck, same guy. 'Got any duck food?'
'Sorry little duck, I told you yesterday, no duck food here. '
The duck walks out.
Next day, again, 'got any duck food?'
The guy says 'No! we don't sell duck food! and if you come in here again I'm gonna nail your feet to the floor!'
The duck walks out. next day, duck walks in. 'Got any nails? '
The guy says 'what?... no'.
'...got any duck food?'
