Hi 3Dogs, so pleased that you have a supportive GP, for you and for Mr 3Dogs. I'm sure the confidence that there are medical staff available as and when you need them helps.

Incidentally 3dogs (that I realise is a different user) has a full message folder - I bet some of them were meant for you:)

PPS the medical advice the doc gave on the tablets (PARTICULARLY REGARDING PARACETAMOL) was from the doc for Mr 3Dogs ONLY. Just in case anyone reads it and thinks its OK to pop that number continuously.

Quite right silvercar - that was what the doc told Mr 3Dogs, just for him, as he told him he had nothing to lose - does not apply to anyone else ;)

As for 3dogs - yes, I realised the other day when someone told me my pm box was full and it wasn't and I asked them if they'd sent it to 3Dogs or 3dogs as I knew there was one, and of course that's what had happened. I check 3dogs out then and they posted once in Nov 2008 I think and have not been seen since so I said if they had a full pm box I would guess that the messages had been for me over my time here. so if anyone sent me a pm and didn't get an answer, that was probably why :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just been looking at the "Pot Desserts" on mysupermarket and i think the Cadburys twinpots would work out at 20p using price flop and JTD.

    Currently on offer in Asdas @ 50p x 3 = £1.50
    Tesco's 3 @ 78p each  Use £1.00 price flop receive JTD of 75p

    Sorry but I can't match your sums/figures

If you were to buy 3 in Ts @ 78p each then your total would be £2.34

Compare £2.34 with As price of £1.50 means you would get a JTD of £0.84 back

If you have a £1 price flop then what you pay is £1.34. Getting a JTD back of £0.84 would mean your total spend was just 50p or approx 17p a pot

But isn't the price flop for 50p off wys £2??????

If so that would mean your spend of £2.34 would now be reduced to £1.84. You'd still get a JTD of £0.84, so your total spend becomes £1 so price per pot is now 33p

The easiest way to think about this is - if Ts will match the price in As AND let you use a coupon then it's the same as going to As and using the coupon there (£1 coupon makes total spend 50p, which is As price less £1 coupon. 50p coupon makes total spend £1, which is As price less 50p coupon)
