Would like to know how to top up as you suggest as I can't find an account number or sort code? Any suggestions?

    I've just found this thread.

I've been trawling around to get the full picture on this card - here's the info you want, as far as I was able to determine - but double check it out first.

Barclays Bank - sort code 20-32-53, account number 63807568.

Reference is your 16 digit card number.

Suggestion - send a £1 electronically by faster payment method and see if it appears quickly on your card balance.

    Thank you that is great.

I've also heard that the £2.50 monthly inactivity fee (after 6 months) can also take your balance below zero, and therefore give you a further £10 fee for going negative.

Does anyone know if this is true ?

    Thanks

As long as the balance is sitting at nil then you will not be charged so try and take out all the funds from your account so you don't get charged

When you top up (so as to buy your next flight) won't they deduct what you owe?

When it comes to booking your next flight you'd need to top the card up with the amount you need, as others have said if you do a BACS or Faster Payments transfer then you don't need to load the minimum of £150 that Ryanair request.

This wold stop the need of having to go to the ATM and withdraw etc.

If the next flight costs £40 and you top up with £40 isn't there a danger the outstanding inactivity fee will be applied first meaning you have less than £40 in the account?

I credited my card on Tuesday from my First Direct internet banking.
I didn't use the above info - just accepted what came up on the screen and put my card No in the 'ref'
By Wed pm it still hadn't credited - turns out that the FD details were wrong!

The above sort code and A/C No are correct for my "Ryanair GB£ Cash Passport" Mastercard starting 5386
