You never use a taxi or in out alone.
What about dates? Ah there are less stranger rapes so in that case do you not know any males just in case?
You are missing the point.
The Police have a special position, they are the enforcers and arbiters of the law of the land. As such, as a group, they MUST be honest, impartial and above suspicion. If you cant trust the enforcers of the law to obey the law themselves, then they have no mandate to enforce it on us.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. There are criminals in all walks of life and no doubt in every job you can name. Deal with it. You have no evidence that the two who stopped that poster have ever done anything wrong.0 -

You expect to find a different report on the same cases in a different paper ?
If you like i can google them again and find the same story in other papers, will that somehow magically make the story and the facts different for you?
Are you disputing the facts in these reports? Do you have evidence the Chief Constable of Cleveland was somehow innocent ? Do you have evidence that Meredydd Hughes WASNT banned from driving ?
You're an idiot......................the source is irrelevant, the facts are the facts. Just because you dont like the facts and the're reported in a paper you dont like, doesnt make the facts false, and doesnt make the cases go away.

If you search the Daily Mirror website, they make no mention of any of those stories, but they can be picked up on various other sites such as the Guardian and the Telegraph, as well as The Register, the Huffington Post and other sites.
Suggest you stop reading the Daily Mirror, its full of looney leftie cultural marxist PC propaganda, and they hide the inconvenient truths.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. I never said they did anything wrong, just that it wasn't a nice situation to be in - i felt vulnerable in it bacause there was no-one else for miles around.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
Depends how good and honest the officers were though to be honest.
A sole female stopped by 2 men on a very quiet country road in the middle of the night.
It doesn't matter to me if they were police, or farmers, or footballers, or bankers, or factory workers, or taxi drivers - it just didn't feel safe, there wasn't any houses for about a mile away from they were stopping.
Think you're being paranoid to be honest. Marked car probably. Full uniform. Bit of a giveaway.
But then maybe you're just one of the anti-plod brigade. I'll leave you to your prejudices.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

ah so all these stories in the paper we see regularly of policemen being prosecuted for various crimes from rape and corruption to fraud are all invented?
See theres another group, the ones who are blind to whats going on around them, and refuse to believe theres such a thing as a dishonest copper, despite the constant stream of cases, including the murder of Charles De Menedez and the subsequent Met disinformation campaign and attempted cover up, and the killing of Ian Tomlinson at G20..**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. Unmarked actually, but full uniform.
I'm not saying there was anything wrong or suspicious, I'm just saying I didn't feel at all comfortable stopping with them.
The point of saying about this occassion is that the random breathalyser checks are more than just inconvient and annoying, depending on where there are located, they can make people physically uncomfortable and feel unsafe etc, and its very hard to breath into one of those things when you're feeling that way, and if you fail to do it 3 times (I think), they then take you in for a urine sample .
I'm not anti-police, I recognise that they do a good job and are needed to maintain a civilised society, but at the end of the day, its just a job, and should be treated like that. The police are not above the law.
I am however anti anything that undermines the principle of innocent until proven guilty especially the powers to stop/search and detain people including the 28 day internment for people suspected of terrosim offences, either you have the evidence to charge or you don't, and if you don't then let them go.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
