Undercharged - Can company claim the real price later?

I appear to have been undercharged on a recent purchase. The amount undercharged appears to be significant (Should have been about £2900 but actually charged about £2500:j). I didn't notice the error until I'd left the shop.
Are the company entitled to claim the money if they notice their error? Am I obliged to pay the extra? Since the transaction is now complete is that the end of the matter? The company hasn't contacted me but I'm just trying to ascertain my rights in case they do.
More interested in the legal rights here rather than the morality of getting away with a bargain for once!:)
Many thanks.

There is no exact answer to this, it depends on how the contract was formed and for what amount. Which in turn depends on the narrative of how this happened.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Well I went to the company to collect the item that had been on hold. I hadn't actually checked the price before hand. She quoted the amount (the wrong amount it turns out). I took her word it was correct. She gave me an invoice with the incorrect amount on. I paid (again unaware it was wrong). Got home and realised the error. I think there are two models of the item - I think she charged for the cheaper model but I bought the more expensive model. But I have an invoice with figures and payment received marked on it. Just not the price I now see quoted on their website.0

How was the item 'put on hold'? And do you mean that when you put the item 'on hold' you did not know the price? And are you invoiced for the correct model of the item?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The item wasn't available for some time. It became available yesterday and they put it on hold until Monday. I collected today. I knew the rough price from different outlets but to be honest I just need the item quite urgently so didn't think about the price too much or the exact price they charged. I just needed the item which is quite hard to get hold of elsewhere.0

By 'on hold' I mean they held the item for me rather than sell it to anyone else while I come to collect.0

Yes, invoice states the correct model of the item but the wrong price. Or at least a different price to the one stated on their website.0

Then I would say that the deal was negotiated on collection.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Was this a B2B transaction? (£2500 is a lot of dosh). Not sure if that changes the situation though.0

With a written invoice quoting a specific price which you have paid, I don't think they have any comeback."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I'm a sole trader but yes a B2B transaction.0
