I made blackberry jam in my bread machine today and I have to say its lovely i used a load of blackberries from last years picking. The good thing was its only fruit and sugar and no faffing about just put them in the machine and away it goes
I hadn't noticed the jam setting before and only made cakes and bread in it but decided I am going to make a pot for my mums Christmas hamper. I will have to start my elderflower champagne soon as that will need bottling ready as well for hamper. :T water £82.00 Totally Paid June 2012, vanquis £290.00 Totally Paid July 2012, e.on £300.00 £189.00 Paid Sep 2012, Scott and co. £989 £918 Paid Oct 2012, s/p £400.00 £295 Dec 2012, o/d £2,000.00 Dec 2012, rent £1,600.00 Jan 2013, mum £1,500.00 £1,400.00 Feb 2013

Ooh, lovely idea on a Christmas hamper. I really love homemade jams and can't wait for the blackberry season so I can get picking a few. Last time, I made several mini crumbles for the freezer and potted them individually so we can have pud anytime.

And good luck giving up smoking. One day at a time - I'm now over a week without fizzy cola.

Wow great work on the hats
Me & Mum have them on the gear kn*bs of our cars as they are metal and get really cold in winter. She threw hers out by accident though, so I'll be getting another for her when they come out.
The Christmas hampers sound like a lovely idea, much more personal & thoughtful
Good luck on quitting smoking
