What an idea for a website! How about https://www.skillswap.com - it has such a good ring to it!
There a definitely things I want to learn in return for my computer whizz kid skills, so I definitely sign up and I'm sure my friends would too.
Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -
I set up a facebook page last night for my local area and put it on my wall just going to see how it goes now I would love someone who needs a birthday cake or something to offer me sewing lessons I would ask mum but she sort of just takes over and does it for me and I don't learn anything
Not going to the hen do on Saturday as I can't afford it at all need to save a little for the wedding for drinks and things so going to put £30 a side for that. I think it will cost me about £100 in total for clothes and everything but I do think the rule where women have to wear dresses is a bit silly as I don't own one but I do have a lovely cream trouser suit that would look lovely  but the bride wants it and she is a very good friend so I will make the effort found dress and shoes on the everything for 5 pound website so going to get them so I guess £13.95 in total for my outfit isn't too bad. Need to find a cute dress for dd but going to keep an eye on fleabay and hope something comes up.
I'm in work today at 2 for my first day of learning  bit nervous but I'll be fine
I start on Monday properly and can't wait to get a proper wage and get debt busting :T
Worked out all my Christmas present list last night and including food it should all come to about £350 for everyone. The most expensive one is dd's kindle but she loves reading and I thought she would use it a lot there's plenty of free books to download too so it's not too badly priced really.
I should hear from the CSA again very soon it's been ages since the change of circumstances were put through but I am waiting for her dad to change them again just as it's been sorted  it feels like for ever since I got any money from him but I can hope.
The veg is doing really well can't wait to start harvesting it as that will save me buying as much too

I have totally worked out my budget now and if everything goes to plan I will be debt free the end of February I have budgeted for a cooker too as the little electric one I have isn't the best as I can only cook one thing at a time.
I am going to work hard now to stay in budget and even come under in some places.
I've updated my debt page and put the dates next to each one for when it should be cleared to keep me focussed on my goal the BFTNE said he's looking at us getting a house together July next year and by that time I will be debt free and hopefully will have £3500 saved towards the deposit  a scary prospect at the moment but onwards and upwards I can and will do this for me, the BFTNE and most importantly my dd. We were talking about wills the other day and have decided once we buy somewhere together we are going to each make a new one. He wants to leave his dd's his half the house between them and I will leave my dd my half and money will be split between them all equally. I have some rings and things that I need to leave dd as well so we said we would go together and make plans for them. It is nice to finally have a b/f who I can talk to about everything it helps so much. He was pleased I paid off the water and he can see I'm making an effort to get debt free.
I am having my friends 2 ds it will be nice to have little ones in the house and I am going to take them to pick up dd she will will love it she adores the two of them and mothers them :rotfl: I think it's because she's an only child she loves to have temp siblings
