Worked out my debts and if I try really hard I could be debt free by December this year I would love to start the new year with a new me :j I have decided I am going to give up my only bad habit of smoking  I know its a bad habit and is just throwing money down the drain and the BFTNE hates it so I am going to really try hard to quit this time.

DD has decided she wants a sleep over for her birthday so I think I will make the rainbow cakes for that too and HM pizzas and potato wedges as these won't cost loads. Last year we did pizza hut and it cost me £125  can't afford that this year.

We are having cottage pie tonight and probably tomorrow too as there will be enough for two nights. For pudding we are having banana muffins and custard so dd will be impressed she loves them.

    Jobs for today:
    • Clear out and tidy the junk cupboard under the stairs
    • Clean both bathrooms
    • Weed the front garden
    • Sew the rest of my socks up
    • Make two hats for innocent smoothie campaign

That should keep me busy roll on the 2nd when I can start work I love the feeling when you wake up and realise that something good happened the day before lol

Awesome cakies! Those are beautiful! And congrats on the job! We're with you all the way :)

Jambalaya tonight - got a few chores to do today but nothing too strenuous as I've already got all the ironing done. Just tidying, really.

Your welcome badger anytime :D and kitchen can you do my ironing please hate ironing so much .

Cooking is my relaxation I love it well not so much cooking more baking dd's friends loved the cakes we got mobbed in the play ground lol.

Weeded the garden so the BFTNE will stop moaning lol it wasn't that bad but he is a clean freak so he will be pleased now. Herbs have been cut and frozen going to do that throughout the year so I have a good supply. Decided I'm going to make a load of yorkshire puddings for the freezer they are lovely filled with fruit and cream poured on for puddings.

    Hey there,

Just read your diary and wanted to wish you good luck! I too have a hubby that has no debt and is far better than I with money - all the same he's very supportive in me getting rid of the debt. I'm on a mission just like you!

I'm loving all these cakes and food - something i'd love to do but just never seem to find time??

Have you thought about turning your passion/relaxation in cooking into a money making possibility?? Any good at cupcakes? These are a hit with parties/weddingetc. Just a thought! :D

I love cooking I do sell them to friends making my friends dd a 7 layer rainbow cake at the moment for her birthday as she's 7 this year but making that as a gift this time as her dd begged me for one as a present.

Glad you all like the recipes :D mainly stolen off the interent from various websites :o lol

It's a massive help isn't choc when someone is backing you and you lot are all amazing too :A ok the BFTNE told me I better say what his nick name is it's The Beast From The North East :rotfl: he got it from work as he's 6 foot 3 and from the north east :) but he liked the bloke from the nags ead suggestion lol. He has sorted my budget out and is going to help me quit smoking he said I can shout at him any time when I get stressed although I think he might regret that :rotfl:.

Cleaned my house today and mum gave me free tickets to the circus (no animals involved) as I hate the way the animals are transported and kept but this one is acrobats and things looking forward to it the tickets came through her door so we are going to have some free fun managed to get the BFTNE a free one too from her neighbour :T.

The cakes went down a storm at school and her teacher said they were lovely but didn't last very long lol they went in 10 minutes flat good job I put one in dd's lunch bag as they had gone when she got into the hall. Looking forward to the weekend housework all done and the washing up to date even tackled the dreaded ironing pile  ironing just bores me so much but watched Jeremy Kyle whilst doing it OMG now I know what I'm not missing while I was at work :rotfl: but made me feel so normal lol.

Well off to read other peoples posts and be nosey :)
