OS Daily Thursday 7th June

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 7th June. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred.
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning all
Raining here again today, thankfully the washing is drying on the covered line.
Ebay is getting exciting, I have 15 watchers on a ball of wool & lots of bids on 2 other items. I have 10 items listed & probably will only make £15 but it doesn't take much to get me excited, lol.
Hubby's started planting the winter cabbage so hopefully we will have enough to last us through.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Peeing it down here <sigh> back to the usual damp squib weather.
Thankfully I have a friend and her two kids comng round today so that will keep my two busy.
If I manage to do any housework today it will be a miracle
Tea, not sure, might look into a pea and potato curry from Paupers Cookbook.
Hugs and spoons all round xxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Good Morning All
Been mia last couple of days - don't know where the time has gone.
Had a little lie in this morningand just about to get dressed as have asda delivery coming between 8 and 10. Plan to get the house tidied and ironing done this morning then some paperwork this afternoon.
Hopefully DS will be off out with his mates all day although the weather is meant to be horrible. DD will mooch around, she has a p/t job now and is off for her 2nd shift this evening. She is working in a fish and chip shop, think she will find it hard today as she is working 5 - 10.30.
Havn't done a menu plan this week  but think will roast a chicken for dinner tonight.
Money very tight this week and will be again next week due to losing so much coz of the bank holiday. Lots of money juggling to do later - joy.
Better get going - have a great day all.x0 -

Pouring down here as well, all yesterday's washing ended up in TD, not very OS! Got it all to iron later today.
Going to a sewing class this morning, 20 yr old DS watching the littlies, then will have to take him to work (SM, working 2.30 - 10.30). It's our wedding anniversary today, so will have to get something nice for tea when I drop off DS - we're going to have a grown-up dinner when the babies are in bed! 26 years now, can't believe it! :rotfl:
Hugs and kisses to those in need, have missed a lot recently.
Have a good day, even if it rains, catch you later.
