How can I sell my official Olympics tickets?

Also lots of good tickets went on sale from 7:00am today, managed to get tickets for both hockey finals plus other stuff.
I didn't know tickets were on sale that day and yet I have had emails before. Should I be signed on to a Facebook page or something as well to make sure I know when tickets are back up for sale. Its disappointing that we are a family of 5 but could only buy 4 tickets so I'm after a single table tennis ticket and might want to sell back fencing tickets but can't till I'm sure I've got the table tennis ticket. I have sent back my 4 football tickets to the Olympics office. If I understand correctly, if these tickets are unsold, then they will send back to me so that I can attend the event. Is that correct?
Yes, that's right. You can either attend, give the tickets away or sell them yourself.
However, bear in mind that there are already loads of football tickets available so it's unlikely that all of the resale tickets will be sold due to lack of demand (esp with Beckham not playing). It would be interesting to know that if more football tickets are sold whether resale tickets are put up before previously unsold ones. If it's the former then I wouldn't be expecting any to be sold.0 -

I applied for various things and in the original ballot I got four 100m final tickets the only snag is they are top price ones at £725 each!! I was hoping for four cheaper ones at £50. At a stretch I can use two of them but at that price I don't know enough people willing to come. I phoned LOCOG and they said if I want to sell them back I have to sell all four back - I can't keep two and sell two - the system sucks!!
Shouldn't have applied for a price range of tickets you couldn't afford then!
No sympathy I'm afraid!0 -

What the process is, is that your original tickets are void as soon as u put them up for resale. If not sold you will be able to pick up new tickets for your original seat at the Box Office on the day.
Ticketmaster confirmed this to me yesterday0 -

D_Dickenson wrote: »Thank you for that. You don't think it is reasonable to want different amounts of tickets depending on the price? This is something the system did not allow.
The system allowed you to set a maximum price that you could afford and the number of tickets , so allowed you to budget a maximum possible cost for affordability0 -
Depending on the price that they chose for me, I wanted a different amount of tickets. The system did not allow this.
The budget for two people was different to the budget for four.
It only works if you have a monopoly. The system allowed you to set a maximum price that you could afford and the number of tickets , so allowed you to budget a maximum possible cost for affordability0 -

Just log into your account at the Locog site, bring up your list of tickets and there will be a resale button by all your tickets. Everything seems to be selling (except football :rotfl:)0 -
I've put my tickets up for resale the other day, but when I search for rowing tickets on the website it says there are no tickets available. Yet I haven't received any confirmation that they've been sold. How am I supposed to sell them if they're not advertising them as available? Or are the resale tickets sold on a different website?0
