How can I sell my official Olympics tickets?

Could you not just meet up prior to the event and go in together, I thought the only checks made was that the cc holder had to be present.
Nope CC holder doesn't have to be there. The requirement now is that the person who bought the tickets must be contactable by phone if not there in person.0 -
Well the tickets are bought in my name with my credit card and I will be going so that is not a problem, but the law says you can not advertise on the internet and can only sell to friends and family so I don't want to break that.0

FYI, you can now resell tickets through the website again, although there are no gurantees they will sell.0

Also lots of good tickets went on sale from 7:00am today, managed to get tickets for both hockey finals plus other stuff.
Thank you for that. I have now managed to buy a ticket for handball on the 2nd August so all the family will now be able to enter the Olympic Park together and enjoy the day. Just need good weather now!!0 -

I was hoping for four cheaper ones at £50. At a stretch I can use two of them but at that price I don't know enough people willing to come. I phoned LOCOG and they said if I want to sell them back I have to sell all four back - I can't keep two and sell two - the system sucks!!
If you go onto the ticket resale site now you can offer up just part of your allocation. Just login to your account, view confirmed tickets then click on resale. I've just done it for some football tickets.
I'm sure that tickets for the 100m final are more likely to resell than those for the football.0 -
Has anyone managed to resell football tickets and had email confirmation ?0

There is a very large and very active community of Olympic Ticket hunters on Twitter - suggest you look for #2012Tweeps and follow someone like @volshy and definitely @pearcesport.0

I have sent back my 4 football tickets to the Olympics office. If I understand correctly, if these tickets are unsold, then they will send back to me so that I can attend the event. Is that correct?0
