Ebay result.
Sold my bed, wardrobes, exercise bike and a set of shelves and made a fab £268!!!!
I can think of about 100 ways to use it though!0 -
We've opened up an ebay shop to try to sell on some of my Slimming world stock. I listed my magazine on a 3 for £2.50 offer yesterday and have sold 3 lots already! All profits to the hungary pigs......0

had aletter from Lloydstsb about the bank charges. Seems like their standard one that tells me they are fair. I guess nows the time to start the court proceedings - OH's not so convinced about this!0

things are progressing nicely......
i put in my claim against LLoyds bank charges this morning - scary thought trying to take such a big organisation to court! From what i have read on here Lloyds seem to be the one bank who pressure you to go all the way!
Ebay is doing great - made over £400 so far from all my crap!
The house down the road has just been valued for £250K which is £30K more than oursso we have arranged a day in may for three agents to come and value ours. We're gonna go onto the market before the HIP come in for June. Still tonnes of sorting and decorating to be done mind you.

Ebay stuff is really selling
and we've got loads more we can put on - although we will probably wait until after the house move.
We've made over £600 now which is paying for the redecorating we are doing to get the house on the market.
Our new sofas arrive tomorrow which will be great because we've been using an airbed in the lounge for the last two weeks!
Pay day tomorrow so we'll be buying our mattress and then using our £15 off tesco voucher to do the month shop. Hope to pay loads off the debts too.0 -
Hi gingernut, have just read through your diary and it is fab - your enthusiasm is really encouraging and you are making great progress. Re. your bank charges - please please stick at it, I claimed mine from Lloyds too and nearly gave up and one point because it seemed such a long process, but I got the money back last week and that seriously makes it all worthwhile.
Congrats on the great ebay profit - out of interest, what are the APRs on your debts? xMFW

hi blonde,
thanks for the encouragement with the bank thing - wish lloyds was like some of the other banks and would just pay up. surely it'd save them in the long run!
my APR's are as follows..... northern rock 6.2%, cahoot loan 5.8%, everything else interest free at the moment.
how much did you get back from Lloyds and did they make you take them to court?0 -
