  • Sistercas, hope you enjoy men in black.
Lou, :rotfl:, that did make me smile.
RR, hope your ds gets home ok.
Just checking in to say we had 9 eggs today from the chickens. I'm just so pleased, though members of my family may say i need to get a life. Little things and all that. We have been getting some everyday but not that many.
Jasper has had a haircut. He looks so different when he is cut short, he looks thinner. I wonder why that doesn't happen to me ;).
I hope everyone has a good rest of the evening and hugs to those who need them.

Would anyone here like two free seated tickets to see Blink 182, All American Rejects and Twin Atlantic in London june 9th or know someone who would?
If so, PM me! I'm struggling to give them away to people I know, (they're barely fetching £10 on ebay) and don't even remember buying them as I've never been a fan  Kids can go with an adult.

Id have had them off you like a shot, my dd loves Blink 182, but we are busy on the 9th, what a shame :(, but thanks for the offer xx

... a can of Mamade to try making marmalade....

I make Christmas presents from Mamade with a glass of Laphroaig in - my brothers love it, and it uses up the Laphroaig as it's too strong in flavour for us!

    Evening all,

Didn't make it to doc this morning, turned off alarm, woke at 9.20 and he finishes at 9...oh well, Tuesday next....feel a bit better to-day, collected meds for month ( another €129 gone) replaced broken windscreen wiper and got coffee for DS3 and us, washed some clothes, hung them out and brought in clean dog's bed before it gets wet on line.

Nice day here, not exactly what you would expect in June, but sunny and not too cold...love the smell of the countryside at this time of year...meadowsweet, blackthorn flowers, elderflower, honeysuckle all lovely especially at dusk for some reason.

We bought some nice cheese when we went for coffee, had that with salad, ryebread and lots of beetroot for dinner....hope that you are all eating lots of beetroot as it is allegedly one of best things you can eat, helps people with breathing problems...I love it so it is no hardship to eat lots.

Watched a fair bit of tennis to-day, was sorry to see Andy Murray go out, but he didn't seem to be at his best....OH watches tv non-stop so if I want to get some knitting done I sit in and watch too, on my own would not bother most of the time.

Working at getting rid of stuff we don't need....really seem to have kept paperwork all our married life, so what is no longer needed will be dumped, and will allocate a box each to offspring, to be stored in loft and presented to them on their next visit.

Have just realised the time....should be asleep long ago, beauty sleep is becoming more vital as days go by, not sure that its working!

Sleep well all and stay safe
