    Afternoon all
RR hope all well and that Ds gets home ok. Same thing happened to my DS in Barcelona a couple of years ago.
DundeeDoll - I shall be having the same argument with self tomorrow morning (as I do most work mornings)
VJs Mum (not sure if n correct thread) hope you Dad's ok.
My last day of freedom today, but early finish tomorrow as I've got a fair few things to do while shops/bank open. Shouldn't complain as at least I've got a job for the time being.
Pork chops, hm stuffing fresh runner beans and new pots all prepared for dinner (40p y/s), chicken casserole-y hotpot-y thingy prepared for tomorrow (y/s 60p). Yukky kitchen clothes I just found in utility room sink soaking in bleach - now to put the clothes mountain away, and check on work emails - always feel better going in prepared:mad:
    Glad everyone's had a good long b/h.
    Happy Wednesday all

İ need to get back to simple things and post here!! My mind is wondering for some silly reason(i am MD and i worry i am getting ill).
My recent bout of doctor visits and the associated stress seems to be taking its toll.
İ saw a Psych doctor yesterday and he says i havent been taking enough of my regular meds for a long time(12 years)--he has upped my dosage but ever since i started the new dosage i have felt different in a 'up' way which is opposite of what should happen!
İ have been spending which is a bad sign for me because i am generally very careful--i havent gone into debt but i have budgeted for the next 4 months and the pot is pretty empty if we live just a basic life. Neither my wife and i get income during the summer so i have to do the budget.
Yesterday i bought an exercise bike and a set of speakers for the TV but i keep desiring frivilous items!-my wife also wants to do an English course which is 1500 quid--so pressure.
Anyway i feel well physically. i have lost 3lbs so far on my diet and i havent had any alcohol since the 26thMay.-Maybe i am just feeling good about life!! but its worrying?
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

Could you "virtually spend"? Take a print out with picture, cost of item and put in in a lidded jar or pot and tell yourself you have bought it. Then look at the jar a month later and see what you think etc. etc.

Had to visit lawyer with DH this morning as nag er persuaded him we needed to make a will. He went in looking as if he were going to the dentist and came out looking much happier.

Making veg and potato cakes for tea with sausages or lamb koftas.

Later on making veg cous cous for DD's packed lunch.

Hug to all and see you later

Missed an AF delivery as had to go to lawyer so hope they deliver tomorrow. Have Jamie Oliver lasagne sheets, gnocchi, cans of soft drinks and a can of Mamade to try making marmalade. Have hidden the cans of Coke and bottles of iced tea away as family get a bit miffed if they know I got a bargain.
