    Evening all :)

Trying to avoid watching the football, but its somehow managed to appear on my screen!

Hope you enjoyed/will enjoy the F1, without spoiling it, it was pretty exciting for Valencia. Last year was zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

It does mean that the next race is Silverstone, I literally cant wait!

Will have to give approved foods a try, a £70 discount is ridiculous! :D

Hope the touring cars were good Badger I love racing - anything that has an engine & wheels!

On the subject of F1 (and for those stuck getting the odd race on the Beeb) - any thoughts on the commentary.

That new guy is absolutely terrible IMHO - yes, I know there are (hopefully!) exciting bits but screeching at the top of his voice is awful and really ruins the whole thing for me.

Not the same is it. We managed to watch it live yesterday. Good race but brimming frustrating at times.

We have sky so I dont have to listen to that awful commentator on the beeb, but I know what you mean, they played a clip of him during the news later that night, he's terrible! He used to work for ITV and was known for his screeching so I am surprised they employed him. And Coulthard mispronouncing Vettel every 5 minutes really winds me up!

    So frustrating for Hamilton!

Can't wait to see it all live next weekend!

    Hello all

Touring cars was awesome, it didn't rain either unlike last year when we got absolutely soaked!! Managed to avoid the F1 result... well almost, friend's wife text him to say Vettel was out. I felt so sorry for Lewis :( and JB of course. On the subject of JB B**ts have some nice pics of him advertising aftershave *swoon* smiley-love029.gif
This year was so much better for Valencia, not at all boring for a change.
Looking forward to Silverstone, I'm supposed to be in work but they have asked if someone can go in on the Fri for the Sun off so I've put my name down.
We've got Sky as well so haven't had to listen to Beeb. It doesn't sound like it would be the same. I liked the old Beeb team. Sky aren't doing too badly in fairness to them. ITV were terrible, mind you I can't stand their footy commentary either!!
Shame about England :( But Italy really didn't deserve to lose and I'm surprised we even got to the pen stage in all honesty. I was almost willing Italy to score, rather than it go to pens, I hate them!!

Today have been shopping with BFF and her little girls. Spent a little more than I would have hoped. Got the PJs I saw last week as still cheap, and a dress from Primarni to wear to a funeral next week :( Oh and a cardi I nearly bought a month or so ago but was 1/2 price today and only left in my size, so I took that as a sign smiley-ashamed005.gif but that will be all of the "me" spending for the month now.

I downloaded the Easy Money app for my phone and so far have been really good at keeping it up to date, but I'm £2 out on it for my cash balance smiley-think005.gif I think I must have had a £2 coin and put it in my jar. That must be it??

Food shopping tonight, hoping OH will want to go to mr As as it seems cheaper than Mr Ts. Better have something to eat first so I don't want to buy everything!!

    yawn.gif Morning,
Was hoping to get a lay in this morning but woke up when OH did.
I think another cup of coffee is in order smiley-eatdrink059.gif then I'll start with all the exciting things I've got planned today whistling.gif this mainly consists of housework... and checking online banking smiley-computer004.gif.

Have got to ring up and renew my breakdown cover as well as that runs out on Thursday. Luckily it's only £32 so not too bad, can get away with not having homestart as very good indie garage just around the corner.

Need to go to DF and pick up tickets for tonight, will meet him & DM there as they are leaving earlier than us. Was going to watch the torch come through local village too but think it might be a bit of a rush.

OH got given a Herman the German cake on Friday, so I'm going to take a look at the website in a bit and see what flavour I'm going to make?

I've never tried it before plmbl but the woman who gave him to OH took some into his work yesterday & he said it was lovely.

Ooh SF that sounds scrummy, I was thinking maybe banana & choc or cinnamon, sulatanas & honey?

Hmmm still haven't moved, watching CDWM now.
