  • Mine came with instructions on how to look after him and make him & it specifically says add apples & sultanas etc. I'm not at home now but can give you the recipe later if you don't have it (though the idea of bananas & Choc sounds good to me!!) Xx

    Morning all!

Firstly, what the ??? is a Herman the German cake! :D

Hope the housework isn't too dull Badger! I've made myself a to do list of chores, including tidying up the cupboard under the sink. I'm a bit scared as to what I might find lurking under there..._pale_

Hope everyone has a good day :)

He's a friendship cake pc, you have to stir the mix each day and on day 4 add some more sugar, milk & flour then again a few days later, then you divide it into 4 and give away 3 portions to friends/family. The last portion gets baked 4e80f77aee3a9.gif

There's loads of info on the website including the basic starter recipe http://www.hermanthegermanfriendshipcake.com/

The one I've got Easy Money is great but after a 30 day free trial it's £5.99. Normally I wouldn't pay this much for an app but because I can update it straight after buying something it's so much easier for me. I'm definitely going to buy it when my trial runs out.

Well last CDWM watched, so housework must start now

    That's a really cool idea, I can't believe I haven't heard of that before!

I'm getting really into my baking at the moment and I'm even thinking of investing in a breadmaker.. I like the idea you can make jam with some of them, does anyone recommend a particular model?

I soooo don't want to be a work today. At least I have paid off some more of my loan :)

Ooh SF that sounds scrummy, I was thinking maybe banana & choc or cinnamon, sulatanas & honey?
Ooh both of those sound yummy :D I'd choose banana and chocolate though :p
